LOVE THIS PLACE. Although they were doing renovations you did not know it. Breakfast was hot and plentiful. Love the pin # for your rooms. Modern and minimalist decor in room was great. The bed was excellent. Will definitely stay again

Great hotel

Very pleased with the room. It was clean, beds were comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our stay and would book here if ever visiting Bentonville again. Especially liked that it was right next to a Starbucks.

Room was dated, not very clean or comfortable. The bed sheets did not fit the bed properly. AC did not work very well. Breakfast was ok and then only perk. However they could do better with the eggs. It was stocked nicely every morning before you came down stairs.

well-fed, a little drowsy

friendly and efficient staff, excellent breakfast, comfortable room. the only drawback was the guest in the next room kept a TV on, loudly, through most of the night, which made it hard to sleep.

I liked that the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is safe, and quiet, and has several restaurants nearby, which makes it very convenient. The parking lot was also a great plus. However, there were a few issues. My TV was not working, and although I reported it, no one came to fix it, and I was leaving the next day. Additionally, I lost my credit card, called the front desk to check if they had found it, and they said they would call me back, but I never received a call. In the end, I had to report it as lost to the bank.

Great Staff!

The staff at The Block were super accommodating to my needs during my six night stay. I had to switch rooms one night and they totally wanted to please me to assure I get a good night's sleep, esp Chelly. The breakfast in the morning was quite adequate, enough variety. Would have liked fresh half and half for tea, but no big deal. The only suggestion is to have a choice of less puffy pillows. I had to use my down jacket in a pillow case for a pillow. For hotel living, that is somewhat communal, it was a good choice of accommodations for my extended stay. Close to where my mom is in assisted living so convenient for walking to her. The room was clean. As far as the touchy keypad, use your finger lightly, not your thumb. Worked without a problem.

Fine for the Price but would not choose again

For the price, the accommodations were fine. It has clearly just been renovated and under new ownership but there are many worn-down elements to the place that were not addressed by the renovations. The biggest turn-off for me was the check-in process - I did not like being required to fill out forms before I arrived at the hotel and I really did not like being asked to submit a photo of my drivers license on-line without any assurance of security. I would not recommend or stay at this hotel for that reason alone.

Overall, it was an average stay.

I really liked the check-in which consisted of a text to my phone with a code to my room number. Made my late check-in very simple. The room was clean and had amenities like microwave and fridge, however, strangely, there was not a single lamp. The nightstand between the beds was completely bare without a single thing on it. I wondered if the guest before stole the lamp and alarm clock. It was bizarre and not great to charging bc I had to crawl under the bedside table to reach a plug. Aside from that- it was fine.

Not-So-Good Experience

We booked a standard deluxe suite and were placed in a standard double handicap accessible room. The room was very outdated. No counter in the bathroom just a free standing sink, cracks in the floor tile, wires hanging from the wall mounted tv. The room pictures advertised are misleading. I understand they are currently renovating, but until completed they should let customers know not all rooms have been renovated. Their front desk was not helpful, I was asked if I was sure the room had two beds instead of one standard queen bed and the manager did not seem concerned with our overall experience.
