Lovely hotel right in an enviable position in the historic town. Parking is available for guests. Good breakfast. Excellent choice of dining options around the hotel. Opportunity to have refreshments on terrace outside hotel. Very friendly service.

Great location, comfortable room & excellent breakfast
andrew, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

Lovely hotel and room was great. Great location too. Lovely breakfast too. Such a shame about the common staircase area as desperately needs updating and carpet very worn. Room was lovely and spacious but shower was left as old one and not up to room standard
Mrs Elizabeth, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

It was well organised. Staff friendly delux room was nice and clean. Would have been helpful to have a hook or two in the barhroom as nowhere to hang your clothes but thats the only thing.
Lynda, 2-night trip

8/10 Good

Good location, friendly staff and I liked the character but decor was tired looking
Julie, 1-night trip

Excellent stay. Family friendly. Good breakfast.
Delyan, 1-night trip

6/10 Okay

Staff was wonderful, but our room was pretty run down. The bed was comfy, the parking was convenient if you were lucky to get a spot.
Brenda, 2-night trip

4/10 Poor

Good location, minutes from main high street with its restaurants and bars. Staff were helpful and friendly. However, the hotel is in need of complete refurbishment. Although our 'deluxe' room was a good size, it overlooked the car park and was extremely scruffy, dated and the bathroom in particular felt unclean. The hotel suited our purpose as we spent little time them as we were attended a wedding but I would not recommend it otherwise.
Faith, 2-night trip

Perfect hotel and location

A lovely hotel with amazing sized rooms with a small seating area outside the bedroom. Parking at the back, breakfast was perfect and the hotel is right in the centre of Rye.

A little tired but great location and staff

Alex on the front desk was excellent as were the breakfast staff. A firm favourite even though the fabric of the building could do with some tlc.

Overnight stay

We were surprised at the quality of room, very warm and large clean bed. Breakfast had every thing required.. Parking was easy The only constructive criticism is “ some painting would make a stay excellent “ Would certainly stay again.

Nice old style, good location. There was a lot of dust on the artifice plant in the bedroom. Bathroom was small.
Simon, 1-night trip

Good location. Friendly helpful staff. Delicious breakfast. Large comfortable bed and plenty of space in standard double room. Lovely toiletries. The walkway from car park at back of hotel to front door in need of smartening up.
