Staff looking after reception were very helpful and helped me through some difficulties during my stay. Rooms were beautiful and clean. Security was of high importance to the property and they ensured patrons and cars were safe with overnight gate in place. I would look forward to staying again if my travels take me that way again.

The motel has recently been renovated. The room was neat but the room door kept jamming. The towels and face washer had dirty stains on them. The sheets were a 'dirty white' colour and we were unsure as to whether they had been changed. The fridge in the room was very noisy. The water in the swimming pool was murky and appeared to not have a filter and had no chlorine smell at all. We hopped out very quickly. The owner was friendly and you can tell that they are wanting to do a good job. However, it is definitely very average and when you're having to sleep in a motel with spikes on the fences and an electric gate that is closed at night to keep the locals out, it's a little unsettling. If you're looking for a cheap and poor to average motel this is fine, but do not expect any more.

K-Town Hotel is just what you need after a long drive in the outback. Hassan and his wife are doing a terrific job with this business in a difficult and remote location. The room was perfectly comfortable, clean and well appointed. The king bed was very comfy and sheets clean and soft. Great shower, full size fridge, huge smart tv and a very inviting pool which we didn’t use. Easy and secure parking with automatic locking gate after 7:30pm. Highly recommended

Pubes throughout, shower needed cleaning as floor had some sort of substance on the shower floor making it slippery, no blanket on second bed, toilet not cleaned and when telling the owner all he wanted was to not have a bad review and that rooms get checked randomly. Nothing makes the price acceptable

Whilst this property is renovated backpackers - the price of $249 a nite is absolutely not warranted. Staff, as mentioned in most other feedback, are very accommodating, however there are a few things that dont work well for solo female travellers. Curtains were quite small and i was unable to completely close them and as windows are low enough anyone walking past can look in, so all rather disconcerting. As also mentioned previously, property has safety gate that is locked @ 7:00 pm .. however if you are returning after that time you actually have to get out of your car to enter gate code .. again as a solo female - very uncomfortable especially with current level of crime in Katherine. On the plus side .. there is a full size fridge if that's helpful for you .. Overall hopelessly overpriced - perhaps would stay again if price was half

Was clean and the aircon worked really well. Contrary to most other properties, the tv was well connected and allowed for viewing of streaming services. The area felt a bit disconnected but it was very quiet and we had a good night sleep.

Would not recommend unless last resort

Management provided me a room that upon entry seemed very clean, modern, and quite well laid out. However the main downside which is major is that they asked me to stay in a room without a door lock, and management on site further advised that it was acceptable for me to do so. The on site manager gave me a door lock and expected me to change the lock after handing me a screwdriver. The lock did not work and further they knew about this for the day and don't bother checking the door lock. Unacceptable and unprofessional. The owner called me and refunded me but it was a pain and time consuming for me to find alternative accommodation.
