Very nice hotel in the best location of the city. You are at the doorstep of the old town you really can’t get a better location. Even though it’s in the heart of the old town, it’s very quiet in the rooms, which were also nice. Bed was comfortable and the accommodation were great. Sam, who checked me in was so friendly and inviting, he made our stay very pleasant

Front desk staff very friendly. It’s an old hotel but that’s part of the charm. Like most places in Germany there is no air conditioning in the individual rooms (so don’t complain - this is common here) but the man at the front desk offered me a fan as I was staying on the top floor room. It was 33 degrees last weekend so it was very hot but the view from my window was amazing and it was conveniently close to the hiking path I travelled there for. Comfortable bed. Will definitely stay again :)

Romantic, beautiful hotel in the heart of the Altstadt. If you get a room facing the front of the hotel, spectacular view of the cathedral. Great, friendly staff. Only negatives are that they do not have air-conditioned rooms and the bathroom (and shower) is tiny.
