Great hotel and staff

High quality hotel in Brasov. The hotel is conveniently located close to the old city, with access to many bars and restaurants. The rooms are small-ish but very well kept. We were impressed with Petru who was doing housekeeping duties on our floor and maintained a high level of professionalism and cleanliness during our stay.

Bartenders were super friendly and helpful. Tried to eat at the restaurant but they had no room so we sat at the bar and ate. Reception came in clutch, getting us a ride from Brasov to Bucharest when the trains were sold out. Room was spacious and clean. Close to old town. I would definitely recommend.

We stayed at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Brașov for two nights and were initially very impressed. I was traveling with my brother, his wife, and my nephew, and we truly loved the hotel itself. The rooms were clean, well-kept, and very comfortable. The location is also fantastic, making it a great choice for exploring the city. However, our experience was overshadowed by the poor behavior of the front desk staff, which left us extremely disappointed. Despite putting down a deposit for both rooms I rented, which was meant to cover any incidental charges for our group, the staff embarrassed my brother-in-law and sister-in-law in front of other guests. After breakfast, they were rudely stopped and not allowed to leave the restaurant until they paid for their meal, even though I had clearly instructed the staff to charge any expenses for both rooms to my account. To make matters worse, when I approached the front desk to share my feedback about this incident, the young lady I spoke with was extremely rude and dismissive. She showed no interest in what I had to say, didn’t even attempt to apologize, and acted as though she didn’t care about the issue at all. Her attitude was shocking and completely unacceptable for a hotel that carries the prestigious Radisson Blu name. This situation was completely unnecessary and humiliating. It not only caused discomfort for my family but also made us question the professionalism of the hotel. Such a poor experience, no communication.

Basic of the basic if the basic

The service there is very basic. Most of the hires are trainees and have no clue how to present their services. When trying to discuss some matters with them, none of them including managers can help. Through my membership i was supposed to get an upgrade and of course they insisted that no room is available. A quick check on the app, suggested 2 more rooms of the class above would have been available. They said it must be a system error, while Hotels confirmed they are available. Very very disappointing. When asking about adding an additional (foldable) bed or anything my daughter can sleep on, they said they don't have any of such things to provide, hence expecting us to sleep all together in 1 queen bed for the entire stay. The restaurant is empty despite the fact that they praise it as the top 10 of Brasov. Very unlikely given that they don't have staff ready to bring you to your table and you end up looking around to figure out what to do or for who to wait. Overall very very basic services and I am wondering if they got 5 stars due to the name. Many hotels in the area are much better.

Sehr gutes Hotel in toller Lage. Service in Lobby und car parking hervorragend. Im Restaurant etwas übergriffig , aber ok. Wenn der Gast anmerkt, der Weißwein ist zu warm, dann sollte man nicht erklären, er wäre kalt genug. Zimmer super. Leider nachts von 12 bis 3 Uhr unglaublicher Lärm wegen Aufräum- und Partynachbereitungsarbeiten. Reklamation ist verhallt.

Very convent easy walk to center square filled with restaurants. Very nice room friendly staff. Breakfast needs to be improved. Not like the breakfasts at other Radisson Blu hotels like in Bucharest.
