This hotel is right in the centre of Riga and very close to the No.22 bus stop that goes to the airport. It is just a few mins walk to the Central market and all the delights of the Old Town, It's quirky and the rooms are dated but there was everything you needed including good WiFi. Downstairs in a cellar type area, they serve a good breakfast, and in the evening there is a good restaurant menu, very reasonably priced

Staff is super nice, helpful. Walls are paper thin so you will hear everything in hallways and rooms above. Temperature of room was good on cold days but I don’t think the linens were fresh which was disturbing. Great location! Right across from public transit to airport. Super easy to get around.

Perfect location for exploring and has a lovely patio area to sit with a drink. The cave restaurant has about 4 tables and the breakfast room the same so be prepared to sit outside for breakfast. The buffet was small and fairly cold, few items missing from the beginning. The room did the job but wasn’t very clean, dusty lamps and side tables but a bag of something left in the fridge (assuming from the previous occupier).

Where did 4 star coming from? Avoid room with roof window. If you like living in a bombshelter, this is the hotel for you. No windows at all. Breakfast was not impressive and the breakfast area was tight and dense. The closet in my room was dusty on top, not cleaned for several years. Overall bad experience, but location is good.
