Good location for my occasion
PHILIP, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

The proprietor was friendly and explained what needed to be explained. It is a grand old hotel but nicely remodeled. The breakfast was nice with real scrambled eggs, not egg-powder eggs like most motels serve. Enjoyed the ambiance.
Stephen, 2-night trip

8/10 Good

Historical Hotel. Old , but clean. Staff was great and very helpful. Breakfast was amazing.
???????, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

Very cool hotel. It has a real nostalgic vibe about it. Fun place to stay. The only l thing I did not like so much is that the AC unit barely makes it comfortable, but it is okay. I would stay there again, this was our third time staying there.

I love the historical atmosphere and how it feels comfortable like grandma's house.
Michelle, 1-night trip

6/10 Okay

Tiny room but comfortable bed. Close to restaurants and shops. Breakfast not the greatest, but ok. Great value for the $$
John, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

I was there for just one night but it exceeded my expectations. I did go with not so high expectations as the price of the room was very reasonable
Harshil, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Great stay for one night, small rooms and vathroom but the bed is big and comfortable. Few restaurants in the area. The hotel itself is old and historic. Very cool!
Svitlana, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

Fascinating 1880s hotel. It’s an interesting place to stay.
Darin, 2-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Check in was so warm
Leanne, 1-night trip

6/10 Okay

This is a historic building and it is very dated. Interesting design with common areas like living rooms on each floor. Rooms are tiny and while they have the usual microwave and fridge, a desk and chair, if there is a king-sized bed in the room, you can barely get around. Bathroom is so small that two people can’t be in there at the same time. This could be a great property, but it needs some major upgrades.
Marilyn, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

A very unique property. Right downtown. Is a restored 3 floor old hotel. Lots of seating areas on each floor. Handy for downtown restaurants. Steakhouse downtown was excellent also
Debra, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

It is a Historical Hotel in the downtown. It is a beautiful, old building. They keep it in a good shape and clean. Breakfast was very good and fresh. Room was ok, but bathroom is very small. Bathroom sink is so tiny, you can only wash your hands. You have to take entire bathroom to be able to wash your face and brush your teeth. Interesting experience. Generally, hotel is fine.
???????, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

It's a very old Hotel. Historic. I enjoyed my stay. It was quiet and I slept well. My only complaint would be the size of the rooms. They are quite small, but as stated this is an old building. The Continental breakfast was o.k., not great, but then again, what Continental breakfasts are? I've had better but I have also had worse.
John, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

I actually really enjoyed our stay here. There are definitely some quirks, but what a cool hotel. Check-in was good. The staff actually walked me to the elevator to show it to me. It is old, but works fine. There are so many cool spaces to hang out from the lobby, to the old bar, the cafeteria, even every floor has an area with chairs and tables. Our room was small but renovated. The curtains were so high it was tough to open and close them and the sink was rather tiny, but it was quite comfortable and I would definitely stay again.
Patrick, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Property inside is wonderful the bar, sofas, red carpet that has been kept up from the 20 century It feels grand to be inside
Margaret, 3-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Would stay here again

This hotel was built during the Fred Harvey heyday and is on the historic register. So it has a lot of character. Rooms are nicely updated and very clean. If you're interested in the sandhill crane migration, this hotel is centrally located and close to the wildlife reserve. It is also close to restaurants and coffee shops.
Robert, 2-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Cute

They've done a great job with a hotel that opened in 1930.
Chris A, 1-night trip

6/10 Okay

This is an older town. So i expected an older hotel. The elevator was broken when we arrived. So I had to carry my big luggage up the stairs to the room. And then back down when we left. The staff was nice. She put us on the second floor. The shower was smaller side, the sink in the restroom was small. So small that I had a difficult time brushing my teeth. The bed was comcomfortable. There was a small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker in the room. The breakfast was ok. They have a good breakfast. Some items were cold and not cooked throughly.
Vanessa, 2-night trip

10/10 Excellent

A piece of home

Our favorite hotel to stay at when in the area. Super people, service and wonderful historic rooms. We will always stay here. Blessings to all.
