10/10 Exceptional

Convenient, clean and comfortable. Great for a quick stay near the airport

Convenient location not far from the airport. Very friendly staff, and nice cafe on property. I recommend the avocado toast for breakfast!

The place over whole is ok looking very clean, however the sheet were old and seems dirty there was hair from previous travellers we had to sleep on the towels , the place has lots of potential. Location is very good to airport and staff were very attentive to open the place , don’t worry once you there it’s easy to access.

Hotel is conveniently located on a main access road with nearby restaurants and beaches. Hotel room was spacious and comfortable which included cold AC.

Good value. Great value if the AC worked better.

Location to the Liberia airport cannot be beat. AC will take HOURS to get the room down to a reasonable temperature if outside temperature is above 85. Great amount of space to repack bags for early flights.

2/10 Poor

We got multiple auto messages confirming our stay with check-in instructions and one message canceling our stay last minute and we arrived during a storm with no place to stay and all other surrounding hotels were fully booked. You should have called or stopped sending confirmation messages once you canceled. When your traveling in a country with spotty service it’s easy to overlook a single email among many canceling. You really left us vulnerable during a stressful travel time with a young child after a very long day of travel.

Perfect for LIR airport access.

Lovely stay close to the airport in Liberia. It is a very comfortable boutique hotel. Large rooms, comfortable beds, working AC. Bring your own soap etc. easy check in between 7am-8pm. Be sure to prearrange hours beyond these listed. Street noise during waking hours but quiet at night. Lovely cafe downstairs.

8/10 Very good

Stay was short and sweet. Arrived late and key was easy to get to in the lock box. Was out before anyone showed up and left key in the lockbox. Nothing fancy, but a great place to shack up for an early flight. Shuttle arranged and showed up early.

Actually for the price we were pretty happy with this property. It was clean, the AC worked great and it is close to the airport. Those were our main criteria. We checked in after 6:00 pm and the property was a little difficult to get into. The water was luke warm and the wifi was so weak we couldn’t stay connected. The room was very basic but what can you expect for this price? We’d stay here again just for coming and going.

Great, clean, next to airport

Great simple spot next to the airport. Clean, comfortable room. Great breakfast options too.

It is very small building by the highway. Terrible sound of car and trucks passing by deprives travelers from sleeping.

The rooms were nice looking and the attendant was helpful, but overall we regret staying here. The rooms were so hot we couldn't sleep until 2 am, as the AC took that long to cool the room. And there was so much noise. The plumbing made really loud noises all throughout the night. There were upper windows with no window coverings, right next to a light post, so the rooms were quite bright. There were several red ants in the room. I would recommend spending the extra $100 and trying the airport hotels.

This is a lovely place to stay near the airport. Kind friendly people to help you make sure you get to the airport on time. Nice simple rooms, clean with AC. We got the top floor so we had a lovely sunrise to wake up to. The food was incredible!!! Every single thing we had was delicious. Perfect place to rest your head, lots of space for the whole family. It took less than 10 min to get to the airport.

This property is still being updated but well on its way. The manager was fabulous. The room was bright and airy. Very comfortable. I was told they are planning many updates such as coffee maker and mini fridge in the rooms. However, is a very cozy wonderful place. I would recommend.

6/10 Good

The check-in didn’t go as smooth as expected as communication from the United States did not go through for the property owner to be there when we arrived and for us to have food from their café, waiting for us as offered. But she came soon after, and all went well ultimately.

The worst motel I’ve ever stayed

We only stayed there for 1 night. Didn’t sleep at all because this hotel is right by the side of the street, you hear all the traffic and chickens, dogs all night long. A/C was not strong. One of the rooms only had a fan. We had problems with the A/C remote control and the WIFI. Luckily the hotel owner was there and was able to solve the problems for us. Rooms have no blackout curtains, so not only you hear all the noise, you see all the head/tail lights from vehicles passing by flashing in the rooms. There is a coffee shop downstairs, but we left too early and didn’t try it.

Place needs some attention

At first I thought the bed was broken, but no, it was just missing an entire wood slat, what is frankly ridiculous considering how easily this can be replaced the same day from a nearby hardware store. The interior bedrooom door handle popped off with the door closed, thankfully I was able to get it back on and open the door, what can also be replaced easily and cheaply. The bathroom sink has a fairly bad leak, but the solution was to put a to-go container under it rather than to fix it. Likewise the shower handle had a massive leak so pressure is directed away from the shower head. Then, I chose this hotel in part because they have a coffee shop downstairs that was supposed to open at 7am and have breakfast, but no, I was told they would show up at 8am despite the sign saying 7am, so I left hungry.

Not worth even the cheap price - not reliable

I would NOT recommend staying here. Its a semi converted former apartment building on the side of a busy highway with nothing good around. All the furniture was falling apart and the air conditioner never cooled the room down to the temperature we set it, even running all night. It's a 6 minute drive to the airport, but the hostess was going to charge us $20 to get a ride there through their "shuttle." (Uber was closer to $8, but we couldn't verify our account since we didn't have cell service). The driver was supposed to pick us up at 7 am and never arrived. The hostess was nonrespsonsive when we tried calling and messaging when we were in our moment of need. There weren't taxis in the area to flag down and thankfully a neighbor helped us out by calling someone. The "cafe" on site was closed - she claimed it closed early that day but it wasn't open by 7:30am by the time we left - i doubt it's actually functional. Only one small trash can in the bathroom, no TV, no fridge, no shampoo or conditioner. No recycling. The building is super hot including the "lounge " area downstairs. We were given 5 metal keys to get into our one room walk up on the third floor. The main door is for a business with an extra gate and was difficult to open. Outside, Dogs fought and barked and chickens and rooster made noise all night.

PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE

I try not to write a negative review on a hotels. Even if the service was bad, I think maybe they had a bad day, or not enough staff. But with this hotel I will give them the worst review I can imagine. Online it looks good, and it said it was a home feeling. But it was the worst mistake for my family of five. 1- they never gave us breakfast, even though online said free breakfast 2- we had to pay $20 US, for the shuttle for my family for a 10 minute ride. I go to the owner and said to her there’s supposed to be a free shuttle. We have no shuttle we depend on other services to get you there. She said I’m sorry 😢 I was mad because her sorry is not fixed me paying for something that every hotel gives for free. 3- no towels in the hotel, just one hand towel. 4- No shampoo 5- No microwave 6- No mini fridge We had a one (1) air conditioner for a two bedroom and a kitchenette We also asked for a cot for my son and we were told that would be an additional $20USD EVERYTHING WAS TERRIBLE

Cancelled last minute, relocated to random place

To make this story shorter, I’ve received a confirmation email that they are waiting at the hotel on the day, an hour later since i had no reception as driving to this place I get an email saying sorry your room is not available anymore we will relocate you. I was already panicking as no hotels nearby, hilton was fully booked and my flight is tomorrow morning. When we went there to hotel she said we had pipe issues were your room is not available anymore so I will drive you to my friends house they have a room and you can stay there it’s the same distance. At first you don’t know where this person is taking you, you not sure if it’s safe as this house is not registered anywhere so no confirmation or ratings from other people. Anyway we had no option so we went to their friends home really nice family who gave us a room and dropped to local restaurant and picked when we were done. The conclusion is how on earth this can be listed as hotels as they do anything they want? It was clearly an overbooked hotel and we were last to check in so we lost the room. I’ve read reviews later in this hotel and people had exactly same “story” and they were relocated to the same place as us. I’m sure this is part of the business plan for them but for travelers it shouldn’t be acceptable to cancel rooms one hour before hand. We ended up in the good hands but you never know how the story could have ended. I wouldn’t recommend this place as it’s unreliable sorry.
