Great stay!

Great trip to Munich, we went for Oktoberfest and the hotel was a great location. Only 10 minutes on the metro to the festival and 15 minutes from the city centre. Metro stop was only a few minutes walk from the hotel also. Very up to date location with great amenities in the room also

The place is modern and clean. The service is good. The room got everything you need which includes laundry, a kitchen and a dishwashing machine. It is near the metro station yet very quiet and cozy. Strongly recommend anyone travelling to Munich. This hotel is perfect.

Location was 2 blocks from underground. Hotel was clean and well appointed with washer/dryer and kitchenette. The restaurant and bar were closed during our stay. Be aware that the loft bed is basically on the floor. It was fine for us, but not for older adults. Had to book (for an additional cost) a room with a regular bed height (so they did not have a small sitting area). Emails went unanswered prior to our stay regarding this issue.

Great hotel, comfortable, clean, and well thought out! Within walking distance to all forms of public transit. Our check in was fast, Laura was awesome. I love the mezzanine, it gives, so much extra space to the room! It was very convenient to have the washer/dryer and dishwasher available in room as well! If we're in Munich again, I'd happily choose here again.

This hotel was absolutely amazing. From the quirky decor, co-working space, yoga studio with sessions and the gym. It was beautiful. I loved the layout of the apartment. Great staff BUT Roof and restaurant/bar are shut.

The staff were amazing. In particular a lady at the front desk (who's name I didn't get, sorry!). Really helped us navigate public transport and the city rather than paying the extraordinary taxi fares. Unfortunately, there was no bar/restaurant and the roof top area was closed with no facilities. These were the main attractions in booking and this was only explained on arrival. There aren't many restaurants, bars nearby and so you have to make a trip into the centre. The hotel was very clean. But we had to turn off the a/c as it was too noisy and made loud sporadic clanking noises. Likely would rate this hotel higher if all bar/roof etc had been open or the fact that it was shut had been explained at the time of booking. Lovely greek cafe if you turn right outside the hotel and head to the train station, on the corner. Home made pastries and food and amazing coffee. Really reasonable.

The property is good but its expensive. We paid a premium price for our 2 bed, 2 bath penthouse. But the experience wasn't premium. Several small things were missing. No room service, not even a light one to stock up on used items like tea/coffee sachets. No napkins, only 4 towels. This has a small kitchenett with a tiny dosh washer. We booked it so that we could cook during our month long trip. Again no restocking on dish washer/laundry soap etc. No kitchen towel in the kitchen. All small issues. The room itself is good but when u pay such a hight price, these small things ruin the experince. I wouldn't recommend this place. Its away from the city center too so the location wasn't great either.

I chose WunderLocke because they had two-bedroom options and many aparthotels in Munich did not. The apartment was spacious as were the bedrooms. The windows have shutters outside that are electric, very cool feature. The bathroom was separated with one area with the shower and another with the toilet. I wish the shower area was bigger as there wasn’t anywhere to hang clothes so it was awkward. The kitchen had the tiniest sink in the world with the world’s smallest dishwasher but overall functional. The room only had a stovetop, not an oven. It’s a quick walk to U3 line which takes you straight to Marienplatz in 8 stops.
