I stayed at this hotel expecting a 5-star experience, but what I got was far from it.
The room was not particularly clean, which is unacceptable for a hotel of this level. The minibar in our Junior Suite was completely empty, even though they took my credit card as a guarantee for any consumption. It’s hard to understand the logic behind that.
Service was a disaster: the bar and pool areas were practically unattended. Worst of all, at the pool bar, I was refused a drink simply because I was wearing a bathrobe instead of regular clothes. When I politely asked for an explanation, the bar staff member didn’t even stop to talk to me — she just walked past and, without looking at me, said I had to be dressed. The attitude was rude and unprofessional.
At check-in, I was handed a form and told to fill in my own details — again, not something I would ever expect from a supposedly high-end hotel.
Overall, this place lacks the service, attention to detail, and professionalism you'd expect from a true 5-star hotel. I will not be returning, and I cannot recommend it.
