This beautiful hotel would benefit from having a ‘Scottish ‘theme to it . Obviously this is just a personal view, but its attempt to modernise has removed the authentic character of the building. The dining room felt rather like a school dining room with tables lined up in exact straight rows. No table cloths, no curtains, just blinds which made the room very noisy & rather unwelcoming.

Average 4 star hotel. Split into old house with higher grade rooms and modern bedroom block. Some rooms have good views over Clyde estuary others views of carpark. Food very good. Bar area too open and lacks comfortable seating. Pool and spa were closed for refurbishment and consequently was rather expensive.

The location is great, and the food and service are excellent. However, the accommodations near the top of the resort have extremely thin walls and floors. As a result, I couldn't get a good night's sleep throughout the week. Additionally, it would have been helpful to know in advance that the spa and pool were closed when I made the booking. These are subjective opinions but are based on factual experiences.

Gleddoch hotel and grounds are beautiful. Room was great and perhaps the biggest bed we've ever seen. The only thing that let it down was there was no phone signal or Wi-Fi in our room, so if we were in the room we were completely uncontacable, which isn't ideal at all.

Good Scottish hospitality

I stayed for 2 nights & the service given & room were top quality. I would have preferred a room with a view over the bay, but to be fair, I didnt ask as only there a short while. Great location, I used the driving range, but sadly no time for a full round. Particular credit to Martin, who served me in the small bar & had a great knowledge of whisky, so much so I went to Glengoyne for a guided tour.

Lovely Hotel.

It was lovely, unfortunately the spa & pool were closed. The hotel upgraded our room which was lovely some areas could be doing with a new paint job as there were a few scraps on walls & furniture. We had a lovely meal & enjoyed a few drinks with our voucher. Staff were fantastic, very friendly.
