Why here?

Rude check-in. Will mot check-in before 3pm, even if it is 2pm. Rude service at bar and restaurant. Hotel is in need of serious update. Hotel is far from town.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel. Not only does it smell bad throughout the entire building, but it is also really dirty. The only thing to recommend it is a location close to the airport, which is convenient for an early morning flight. The room was not properly equipped with enough towels—there was only one for two guests. When I asked for another towel, the receptionist was rude. At check in, the receptionist provided no information about parking, breakfast or meals. She’s not even direct me on how to find my room. It was unlike any experience I have had as a traveler in Chile or any other country.

O Park Hotel Calama tem pontos muito positivos e outros que poderiam melhorar. Pontos fortes: • A localização é excelente, especialmente para quem precisa ficar perto do aeroporto. • O hotel conta com bar e restaurante, o que facilita bastante. • A piscina estava bem limpa (não utilizei, então não sei se é aquecida). • Quando precisei de assistência (no caso da banheira sem tampão), a recepção foi ágil e resolveu prontamente. Pontos a melhorar: • O chuveiro demora bastante para esquentar e, em um dos dias, a água ficou apenas morna, o que foi desconfortável considerando o frio da cidade. • A internet funciona bem nas áreas comuns, mas no quarto praticamente não pega — algo que pode atrapalhar bastante quem depende de conexão. • A TV é um problema: apesar de indicar que está conectada à internet, não abre nenhum aplicativo de streaming (Netflix, YouTube, Disney+, etc.). Reclamei na recepção e fui informado de que realmente não funcionam, e só estão disponíveis canais locais. Para um estrangeiro, isso limita bastante o uso. Seria ótimo se o hotel pudesse disponibilizar streaming ou melhorar essa parte. Em resumo, o hotel é confortável, prático e bem localizado, com serviços básicos de qualidade. No entanto, poderia investir em melhorias no chuveiro e, principalmente, em internet e TV nos quartos, que hoje deixam a desejar.

The room were old and not safe, they changed me from the first room assigned because was mold in the walls the bathroom sink was dirty and broken, but the second room was even worse the safety handles in shower were almost falling off, the carpet was so dirty, the chair in sitting area was so dirty and the noise in the room was unbearable. The next morning when I went for breakfast the personal was cold and the service terrible. I had payed three nights after the ffirst night I decided I couldn’t stay any longer, when I did the check out they didn’t even bother asking why I was checking out earlier. It was a nightmare!
