We had a great stay. Bed was smaller than expected and toilet was hard to use as we are plus size people. Staff was amazing. Loved the look of the building

Over priced for the quality

The staff were very pleasant and agreeable. However the hotel is old and showing its age. I would suggest this is more like a cheap motel. Rooms are clean but lacking maintenance. Mattress was old and sagging in the middle. We. Kept rolling to the centre of the mattress. Over priced for the quality

It was a fine place to stay. Property is getting a little tired but clean. On-site restaurant pub is good. Large rooms . Bus access to downtown Water Street is frequent and 2 minutes away.

We booked 3 rooms. The beds were good. The rooms had layers of dust on the bed frames, table base and on the tv box

Would say our room with two double beds was "boutique". It had everything we needed. Lovely clean room with good air conditioning. When I entered the lobby it smelled of smoke but everywhere else on the property there was no smoke smell. Perhaps the lobby is close to the smoking rooms.

That place is a dump and should be visited by the health department. Air condition as never been cleaned, underneath the bed as never been touched.
Lester, 6-night trip

Did not have good water pressure, like a lumpy shower but it did the trick. Staff were really good. Pub food wasn’t my favourite. The walk downtown seems short but it’s straight uphill. Overall place was good for that I paid. :)
Haley, 3-night trip

2/10 Poor

When we arrived at the hotel the staff was friendly and helpful. We got to our room and realized quickly that it was dark and stuffy and old. But the bed was clean. So we were going to stay but then we went in the bathroom to find hair in the sink and dirt/dust and hair on the baseboard heater and hair in the bathtub. On top of that we couldn’t get the door the door to lock properly. We didn’t end up staying the night and are still trying to get a refund from hotels.com

Misleading Room Pictures

We stayed 4 nights Aug 8,9,10,11. Given a horrible ground floor room in back area (Room 104) One window looking onto parking lot that you couldn't open curtain on because there was no privacy sheers and people were walking back and forth outside of it and parking large pick-up trucks in front of our space. It was like being in a cave. No daily housekeeping service and when we asked about this, front desk agent was surly with my husband, saying "We don't do that." There was only 2 electrical outlets in the main area of the room and we had to rotate what we plugged in. There was only one bedside table on one side of the bed and nothing on the other side. Baseboards were dirty with dust. Bathroom vanity was coming loose from the wall and tilting forward so toiletries would roll off if not placed strategically.

Stinks like cigarettes

The lady at the service desk was beyond excellent, she really went above and beyond. The rooms how ever stink like cigarettes. The 1st room i was in...i had to be moved it was that bad!!! The 2nd room was slightly better. But because the airconditoners are right above the front door...anyone outside smoking. all that cigarette smoke goes right through the AC and into the room. I shut off the AC. Which made it slightly better. But then i roasted all night. I woke up with the worst headache, and had to have a second shower because all i smelt was cigarette I wouldnt not return to this motel. Very unpleasant
