Nice hotel in a very walkable area of town. Across the parking lot from a liquor store, grocery store and a little bistro, Salt. The room was spacious and bed was comfortable. The breakfast was decimated by a tour group right before we got there and it took a very long time to refill items but otherwise it was ok.

Egilstadir isn’t the nicest place in Iceland, but t it’s a convenient place to stop. The hotel was comfortable and the breakfast was outstanding. We also had dinner here and it was very good. I would stay here again.
