We had a lovely stay in Fota, the staff were amazing and the food was amazing. The hotel itself is nice hotel but the spa is a bit underwhelming. My wife had a treatment and rated the treatment as excellent so that part is impressive it the spa facility itself that needs some work.

Lovely hotel but very hot bedroom

Spa experience was good and the hydropool and facilities were very good. Went to the pool at 6.30pm on a Thursday and it was very busy. Restaurant, bar, breakfast and staff are all good. The bedroom was lovely unfortunately the aircon was useless and there was a high pitch noise outside the window. Between the heat and the noise, I couldn't sleep which took away greatly from an otherwise good stay.

The room service, food, trails, hotel room was absolutely splendid. There was truly nothing missing. Anything you could think of to want or have was available at the resort. Not to mention the helpful employees all around. My daughter also loved the very fun yet well throughout Fairy Trail. Thank you for a memorable stay!

Lovely oasis

Lovely stay, amazing staff and friendly service. Pool was booked out the of arrival which was a disappointment so make sure to book in advance! Garden is lovely. There was a movie room for kids. Breakfast was good with very quick service. Beautiful bathroom. Bed very comfortable. Children's channels would be nice to get few extra moments of peace in the morning.

Nice Venue but Not 5-Star Service

Lovely setting. Great pool. But far from 5-star service from in room dining to breakfast and checkout and food was mediocre. Poor soundproofing meant noisy wedding music permeation until 2.30am. Have stayed before. Still like it but will come with lower expectations than it suggests.

Stayed here with friends for a spa weekend, we loved the hotel , rooms were spacious and very clean , spa was very relaxing , unfortunately the jacuzzi and outdoor sauna were out of order but apart from that it was very enjoyable. Lunch and dinner were delicious. Breakfast was nice but it was very busy and had to wait for order for 30 mins. All staff were very friendly and helpful . Highly recommended.

Lovely resort Check in pleasant with a very kind receptionist Breakfast was splendid served by wonderful staff . Spa facility/ pool was a wonderful treat. The only minor fault was the fact that a charge of €25 for use of aqua pool was not mentioned until I was checking out. All extra charges should be clear at booking stage or at check in. Mondays reception lady was abrupt and aloof.

Decent hotel but a bit underwhelming.

The hotel needs a bit of freshening up as there was stains on carpet etc. dinner and breakfast were very nice. What was disappointing though was that in order to use the swimming pool you need to book in advance . And you can only book for 45 minutes. The pool was booked out when we wished to use it (in fact it was almost totally booked out for the whole week). In the end we got to use the pool for 15 minutes. If you are paying for a 5 star hotel then surely you should get to use the facilities that make it 5 stars.

Wedding day made extra special

From the moment we stepped into the entrance we were greeted and shown to the checkin desk. We had mentioned to the receptionist that we were only spending the night after getting married, not 2 minutes later a glass of bubbles appeared which totally surprised us. The checkin was smooth and our room very clean, spacious and more than we expected, with a turn down service arriving. We couldnt fault the room or its amenities at all;it was perfect. Dinner at the Amber lounge was also delicious, the service was fantastic and another surprise came from a little dessert saying 'congratulations' which made the dining experience amazing. Spa facilities are also lovely and peaceful. Overall this was a wonderful venue for us and the staff went above and beyond to ensure our day was magical. I would not hesitate to say this is one of the best hitels ive ever stayed in.
