Great location and cool place!
Mike, 2-night trip

This was an overnight stay for a music festival we were attending. The EVO was in walking distance of the venue and also some very tasty dining options. To be honest, the area looks sketchy at first sight but it is anything but sketchy. We safely walked to a restaurant and then the venue and much later

6/10 Good

Very cool in theory. Less so in reality.

This hotel is great if you go to sleep around midnight and sleep in. For anyone trying to get rest before the stroke of midnight, plan on a ton of noise. From the hallways, from the neighbors, from the amenities, from the constant hum of the building's mechanical systems. We are not light sleepers but this rather new building seems like they skipped insulation and other noise barriers.

This is a nice hotel especially for young people who like to walk climb or skate board. Staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. Most pet friendly hotel we have ever stayed in.

Nice but needs more daylight.

We rented two kinds of rooms. One with a balcony (Wasatxh) and another (Boulder)

Was nice

The atmosphere was cool. But the bathroom and walking into the room smelled like wet dog. Should have asked for a non pet friendly room on are part. Was a good stay.

GREAT hotel!

We got in after 1am. The lady at the desk was friendly and helpful. The room was very nice and clean. It actually was a good deal for the price. We had the back of our truck loDed so the security guard out front was much appreciated. We highly recommend this property.

Perfect!

If you are on a roadtrip and driving through Salt Lake city this is your place. We felt so strongly about this that we stayed here on the bkkkends of our trip to Yellowstone 8 days apart. We had a ton of stuff in the back of our truck so we lo ed tbat they have an all-night security guard watching the vehicles. Friendly and clean. Who could ask for more? Pet friendly too!

This place is so cool. Our rafters room was cozy with a nice bathroom. We had good coffees and breakfast sandwiches at the cafe before leaving. I would come back to take advantage of the gym and spend more time in the area.

No window's

The rooms as described by hotels.com were inaccurate. My original room had no windows and i feel that i should have been informed of such. Bad info. More expensive room had window

evo was a super cute - industrial and outdoors at the same time. I loved the atmosphere and minimalistic amenities, and it is very outdoor friendly. From your room you can order a bike to hit the trails! Everything about it was perfect if you travel light and don't need much in terms of luxuries. (again, leaning into the eco-friendly minimalism) Loved the 24-hour Bouldering Project, free coffee, and bathroom amenities! Note: this is not a complaint, simply a note to those travelers who may need some luxuries - the room we stayed in didn't have a closet, armoire, dresser, or table, so the only place to hang or place clothes was on these unique hooks on the wall (near gear hooks where you can hang your bike). So in that way it was a little impractical. There was also no iron/iron board in the room, which again is fine for some travelers, but a little unexpected when I needed to quickly iron my shirt that got wrinkled in my suitcase. This is a perfect hotel if you are visiting for a short stay where you don't need much or an outdoor adventure.

The overhead air conditioning was uncontrollable, if I sleep the bed that is not close to the wall, I get hit on the face all night. Since my daughter doesn’t mind we switched beds.
Liz, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Clean, comfy bed… but strange amenities fee & not all staff are very friendly… e.g. today’s team was great, but yesterday’s cafe barista couldn’t bother to squeeze a smile out, which was ironic given the “smile! You are on camera” sign in the cafe.

This is one of my favorite places I’ve ever stayed—we bouldered for free (included in the stay), and everything is clean and welcoming. There are cornholes and a lounge on the floor with the rooms and a nice bar and coffee shop. There’s construction close by but it didn’t bother us. Lots of incredible restaurants—check out Laziz, a Lebanese place nearby. Delicious and lovely!
