A grand place with very polite staff. Breakfast was very nice with many different options. Parking is easy and the leisure facilities were perfect for after work. The one evening meal I tried was very nice although the portion size was a little small for the price, the bar is a tad expensive also. Regardless I've booked another stay for work. Great place.

The room was horrible dark and dated . The radiator was rusty the net curtains were dirty the paintwork all scratched . The shower gel was empty and the liquid soap was in a dirty dispenser the toilet role holder was broken and the sanitary bag holder was empty . On a plus side the bed and towels were clean . The chairs in the dining room are covered in stains .

Lovely old historic building with lovely helpful staff but room hadn’t been cleaned properly (rubbish from previous guest on side of bed) and the view was very disappointing considering the property (see pic) I felt like I’ve been shoved in the basement. Doubt I go back here tbh
