Comparing this to the Maldives - All inclusive isn’t the best deal as you only get 30% off restaurants and menus outside the standard AI - Beaches are beautiful but public so expect to be hassled by locals selling things - Staff need training, not overly attentive and when making a complaint - not hugely responsive It’s a lovely hotel, beautiful setting but food options are limited in my opinion (even the truck for street food is very very greasy and unhealthy) *

The hotel is well equipped and the staff is amazing and very friendly Jennifer was an absolute hero in our trip she helped us with everything we need and more and was very kind even our daughters (7 & 3 years old) loved her The kids club staff is very friendly as well and know how to handle the situations

Very nice hotel, the beach was beautiful, picture perfect. The hotel was very nice, food excellent, the bar ok. The gardens were beautifully kept. Really great size room, bed super comfy. Couple comments would be in the main restaurant, Mondo should have hand sanitizers with it being a buffet. I much prefer la carte which is served in Beach Rouge and the other restaurants on the resort (which are not included in the all inclusive rate) Lots of sun beds on the beach, but not enough around the pool and although a polite message, saying that if beds were left empty for more than 45 minutes the towels would be removed, no members of the team seamed to be taking any action…..same with the adult pool, lots of children in the adult area, but the life guards took no notice, which was dangerous. Only minor points and didn’t mate the holiday….the beach made it

We had the most amazing stay at the Lux Belle Mare! The team were so welcoming, hospitable and nothing was too much trouble. The resort was clean, comfortable and luxurious, and the variety and quality of the food surpassed expectations. The honeymoon package made our stay extra special! The reception team assisted us with restaurant reservations both at the hotel and elsewhere. The buffet, and the Chinese and Indian restaurants at the hotel, and the local Japanese restaurant Hasu were our standouts. Restaurants seemed to get booked up quickly so it was important to plan ahead, but it was always possible to dine at the hotel buffet restaurant. The pool and beach were beautiful and the hotel includes some complimentary water activities/sports which we realised too late. There is free on-site parking with gated access for security, and found it easy to travel by car rental across the island to all our areas of interest. We would definitely visit again in the future and would highly recommend the resort to anyone looking to stay in Mauritius.

LUX Belle Mare exceeded our expectations, the resort was recommended by my son who stayed with you over last Xmas period with his wife and daughter. After our recent stay at LUX Belle Mare we were so impressed with the hospitality and attentiveness of your staff and overall experience; we have your resort up with the best that we have experienced if not thee best to date.!! Your team are a credit to your organization. One individual was outstanding Mr. Gopee on concierge. Fantastic location, beautiful clean accommodation, amazing culinary selection, warmth of the staff. Our stay at LUX Belle Mare in Mauritius was extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed, setting a perfect tone for our visit. The friendly staff greeted us upon arrival, making us feel right at home. The check-in process was seamless, thanks to Ghada’s exceptional service and radiant smile. A highlight of our stay was meeting Sanjay, who ensured we had towels and water for our speedboat ride, making our experience more comfortable despite the rain. These thoughtful gestures set this hotel apart from others. Every meal was a delight, especially the South Indian cuisine prepared by the talented chefs. The buffet offered a variety of dishes catering to all tastes, each prepared with utmost care and quality. A special mention goes to Kamlesh, whose exceptional service and care truly stood out. When I spilled hot tea, Kamlesh immediately brought a cold towel and water. When my wife fell ill, he prepared a soothing drink. His attention to detail and genuine concern for our well-being were exceptional. We are truly grateful for the exceptional service provided by all the staff members at LUX Belle Mare. We had a outstanding time at the Lux Bellemare ! From the beginning to the end the staff was extremely attentioned and helpful. For all our queries the concierge staff helped us, the restraurant's staff was always keen to help and so kind to us all along, same for the staff at the beach and swimming pool. Our kids loved going to the activities of the kids club - again the staff their was wonderful. There was a cyclone expected and the hotel put some plan/measures in place and always kept us informed and prepared activities inside for the kids. We did not even noticed it (apart from the rain !). The facilities of the hotel are great, we enjoyed the snorkeling and the swimming pool. We (and our kids) especially liked the swimming pool at it is very shallow and allowed us to feel very relaxed in letting them go by themselves - althought there was someone wathcing the swimming pool at all times. Despite most of the hotel host taking sunbeds, we always found room and the staff always helped us find room for us - they free the sunbeds when un-used which was great. The food at the main restaurant was outstanding ! The quality, the range of food was excellent. The kids had their own special buffet and I must say the kids desserts were very successful (ice cream, popcorn, fruits, even "barbe a papa" !). Thanks to the kids club we, the parents, managed to have some parent time alone during the day and the evenings which was great - we ALL enjoyed our relax time there.
