We will now stay here whenever we come to Byron!

The staff were friendly and the room was immaculately clean. Such a comfortable bed and the functions available on the massive television for casting was a so useful! As for the location - perfection!

It was a lovely place but should've been made clear that it's a hostel and not a hotel.

10/10 Exceptional

It was centrally located. Easy walk to the main beach And dining. Staff were very helpful. The only draw back was the payed parking on top of the accommodation fees. But that was across the board around Byron Bay. So all in all a good few days. 😁.

Perfect position. We were in a Queen roome with our own bathroom Clean with a lovely decor especially in the foyer. Laundry was clean with free washing machines and dryers that were easy to operate. Under cover parking was great. My favourite thing was the bench and stools on our balcony.
Robyn, 2-night trip

Cleanliness of the room was poor

10/10 Exceptional

Our stay here was amazing and the staff could not have done a better job at making us feel welcome. The place was clean and very well decorated with really good air con and facilities. The staff were so friendly and they had organised free events for guests most days of the week. We wish we had stayed longer so we could attend them all! They had group walks, a BBQ, trivia night and free boxing classes ect. We attended the walking tour to the lighthouse at sunrise free of charge and even bought us all a coffee/pastry afterwards. If returning to Byron bay I wouldn’t even think about staying anywhere else.
Phoebe, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

We booked the private room suite, and it was very clean and spacious. It had enough storage for two people, and the bathrooms were clean as well. We asked for a hairdryer to be added to the room, and the team was very accommodating. They offered a free boxing class for guests, which is great for boosting physical fitness. The staff and management team were amazing! They are easy to get along with and great to have a chat with. Special mention to Damien and Medard for making our stay an unforgettable experience.
Henriette, 2-night trip

2/10 Poor

It was absolutely terrible the other guests were so loud until at least 245am I had no sleep and absolutely so annoyed and angry at the fact that I paid a lot of money to not even beable to sleep , never again !!!!!’
Pheobe, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Vali seems geared towards younger people and backpackers which is fine - however there are certain things that come with that. There seemed to be a smell of vomit in the hallways at one stage and it is quite noisy till the early hours of the morning so can be difficulty if you are a light sleeper. Our room was great, good size and bed was comfy. The shower head was loose and needed fixing and the bathroom was quite tiny for what was a generous sized room. We were visiting Byron for a wedding so the place was perfect for our needs, very convenient in the heart of town. But my wife did struggle with the noise.
Adam, 2-night trip

4/10 Fair

This could hardly be called a hotel. For over $200 per night, this room was the size of my bathroom. This needs to be advertised. This was the tiniest room I have ever stayed in. There was enough room on each side of the bed for one person to stand. Was advertised as ‘city views’….the view out of the tiny window was a roof. And to stay here with a baby, I would have liked to know first. The tv worked the first day and then the second day not one channel would work. Door to the ramp was locked which made it hard with a pram to enter via stairs. They need to adjust their price. This looks like it used to be for backpackers and it should have been kept like that.
