Stayed at this hotel 20 times in the last 15 years. Needs some money spending on it. First time I can say the mattress was below standard. Bathroom looking a bit sad. Indeed first we may look elsewhere next time we make our regular Sheffield trips.

Jaded rooms and overall hotel needs a complete renovation. The initial room which I got had fire hazard with the air conditioning equipment exposed out and upon complaint was moved to an upgraded room. Bathrooms were clean and bedding comfortable. Breakfast spread was great. I won’t stay again though.

However the hallways and room left a lot to be desired... paying for a junior suite and expecting a premium finish to have several parts of the rooms looking tatty is not what we wanted. Damage to walls, plastic caps hanging off with cables behind. Parts of carpet cut out and replaced. Tap that was hot and cold reversed. Door stop missing from the door. Toilet flush with no power to flush toilet paper away.

This is a lovely hotel in an amazing cbtesk location in the city. We were going to an event at the City Hall which is just 5 min walk away. It’s got plenty of restaurant choices in easy walking distance and is situated in a lovely part of the city on the edge of the lovely Peace Garden. The staff were friendly and the hotel lobby and bar are really nice as was our bedroom. The hotel doesn’t have its own parking but has a deal with a large car park 5min walk away at a discounted rate.

Excellent Hotel prime central position friendly, modern, clean,large room with king size comfortable bed and pillows. Tea/ coffee provided, fridge, excellent hot power shower.Excellent breakfast buffet style, plenty of variety. Excellent pool dissappointed sauna was out of service. Highly recommend
