Very nice place with a clear sense of detail. We opted for the Deluxe room — spacious, beautifully decorated, and with a big bathtub and a super-size bed.
Breakfast was very Chinese/Asian-oriented, and after a few days we decided to skip it — the coffee was terrible, and simple Western items like cheese or granola were missing. The rest of the buffet looked fine, just not to our taste for the morning.
Staff were friendly in a typically Chinese way — not many smiles, but attentive and efficient despite limited English. With translation apps, communication was no problem.
The fitness facilities do exist, but as in most hotels, they are quite limited: a few cardio machines, a dual cable tower, a bench, and some medium-range weights. A bar for the tower, and a barbell for chest with weight plates would have been great.
Location is excellent — an easy walk to the Bund — and the cute autonomous delivery robot roaming the halls and taking the elevator on it's own is just magnificent.
Overall, we were very satisfied.
Thank you, Blossom House!
