The hotel staff were very good, the room clean & beds good. We had a good night with undisturbed sleep & a hearty breakfast. The hotel building is in need of some TLC though, threadbare/frayed stair carpets, the chair in our room needed reupholstering, paint work, woodwork & door frames particularly at suitcase height were bashed & chipped. The overall impression is good though - clean & pleasant smelling, but on closer inspection it is tired & needs refreshing.

We have stayed at The Dragon many times. On checking in we were recognised by the receptionist which was very nice. We were given an upgrade to a lovely room with a separate lounge area. As we were quite tired from our last few days, this was lovely - we chilled out and watched a film with a few drinks. Lovely hotel, room, staff and breakfast. It is normally our first choice when wanting to be in Swansea City Centre.

Check-in and check-out were incredibly quick and hassle-free, which made the whole experience smooth from the start. The room had everything I needed, and the bath and shower were both perfect - clean, modern, and really relaxing. I also had a lovely view over Swansea, which was a nice bonus.
