A little further than I'd like to walk to the middle pier of the boardwalk (where my kids spent most of their time) but worth the trade-off in having a clean hotel room that was walkable to good restaurants and had ample parking that wasn't too tight.

This hotel is located very near the boardwalk and we were able to walk many places. It is very faithful to the mid-century modern vibe, which fits with the area very well. We were there in an off season and it was pretty quiet. But I think it could get very crowded and busy at times. The decor in the room fit in the style of the hotel so that we felt we were in another era. It was clean and comfortable.

We had a fantastic stay at the Starlux Motel! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, from the front desk to housekeeping. Our suite was spotless and adorable, with a fun mid-century modern vibe and a kitchenette. The location is perfect—walking distance to the beach and convention center. Even in February, we had a great experience. It’s an amazing spot for a summer stay. Highly recommend, and we’ll definitely be back!
