Cute Hotel & Town

Good stay between Yosemite and San Francisco

Great little place

Cool little hotel. Exactly what we were looking for. The guy that checked us in was awesome. About a 15 minute drive to Yosemite. Will be much better once bar/restaurant is opened back up.

Wonderful Stay, Kind Owners

The hotel was quaint, charming, and comfortable. The owner was so nice- we were hungry and she recommended a close by restaurant- the restaurant was about to close, so she quickly checked us in so we could make it in time to get dinner. I love that the hotel is run by a sweet family who care about their clients! Plus, the place is absolutely adorable!

Hotel Charlotte is a historic hotel with lots of old-world charm and associated character. It is centrally located in Groveland and is a perfect launching point for a day in Yosemite Valley. The proprietor is extremely welcoming and very knowledgeable about the area.

Bar/Restaurant Currently Not Operating

One of the reasons we chose this hotel was because of the attached bar/restaurant, this wasn't operating at the time of our stay. This is something that should be shared at the time of booking.

We stayed at this lovely small town hotel that has lots of charm. It's a historical building and the owners are very nice. You get complimentary pastries and coffee in the morning. They offer pre order at the local cafe across the street so there's no waiting in line. The room was clean and had old school charm. I wish the soaking tub jets were working but overall was quite and a nice place to stay as we were visiting Yosemite for two days. There are a few nice decent restaurants a short walking distance away but the only thing was we weren't informed ahead of the parking lot being a bit tricky to find initially but we figured it out. We would stay again.

Out of all the places we stayed at during a 9 day Cali road trip, this stood out as the most charming and accommodating, a favorite of the trip. The Inn Keeper is clearly taking pride in his establishment, with attention to the details. Enjoy high end complimentary tea on the balcony overlooking the street below after a long adventurous day in Yosemite.

We stayed here while we traveled to Yosemite for a few days. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are small but have charm and each room has their own bathroom. It’s like a bed and breakfast. Hallways were not sound proof but the room was quiet and the bed was very soft and comfortable. I would stay here again. Cute town but everything closed by 8p and we never did see any of the shops open.

This is a small charming historic hotel in Groveland owned and run by a local couple who are very helpful, super welcoming, and personable. Each room is a little different - quaint and much more fun than a boring hotel. The cozy lobby has a fridge for guests, a few tables as well as lounge seating. One can also sit on the balcony or spread out in back. Bed was comfortable, AC kept the room cool. We stayed two nights - very much enjoyed it and we will be back. Groveland is appr. 30 minutes to the park entry, not including any wait which varies by date/time and offered some dining choices and a food market.
