Very convenient and modern room. Definitely pay for the parking, as most things can be seen by foot and parking is a premium. Getting to the room, arriving and finding reception was not easy, hence the 4.50 star review. Beautiful views from the room, too.

Superb location and great service.

We enjoyed being in the heart of the town for a few days. The hotel was convenient for the harbour and eateries as well as the old town up the hill. The room had a balcony overlooking the harbour which we enjoyed for afternoon relaxation. It feels busy at times with the hubbub of the harbour and passing people but it wasn’t noisy. But for a lovely spot to watch or listen to the world go by, it was perfect. The Alte Post next door was wonderful for food and the ice cream parlour below was great for a pick me up. Staff at the hotel were excellent and so helpful. Beds were comfy. All in all a great stay. Minor gripe was lack of coffee facilities in the room. However, the breakfast buffet was immense! That set you up for the day in a gorgeous sister hotel along the road.

Meersburg and the hotel were something of a revelation to us. Only there for an overnight stay but will certainly be back. Our room was pleasant, clean, seemingly recently refurbished, and very well appointed / designed / set out, with guests’ convenience in mind. The hotel is directly on the lakeside, and our room looked out on to the ferry quay. Peaceful and beautiful. Parking is limited but we were offered a space just a couple of minutes walk away from the hotel - €15, which we thought was a bit steep. One other inconvenience was that breakfast is served in a sister hotel about 200 metres away, though a little electric shuttle is provided, if needed. This was more than compensated for, however, by the magnificent breakfast spread! A huge range of quality food and one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve had.

Nice but things to be aware of.

Breakfast is not on site but at another hotel 5 min walk away. It is good though. No restaurant on site. Parking costs extra. Parking is not nearby and is a 10 minute walk away. Lake View room looks out along the lake shore to the south east, there is no view northwards at all. Rooms are small, bathroom even more so Reception shuts at 20:00 and with it the main door. After that you have to use a side door and take the stairs to the first floor before you can access the lift. Might be an issue for the less well abled when coming in after eating out in the evening. A nice place overall, but none of these things were mentioned when booking or on the website, you only get to discover this after booking or upon arrival.

Hotel Seehof Meersburg für 3 Nächte im August 2025

Freundlicher Empfang an der Rezeption und unkompliziertes Check-in. Unser Zimmer Nr. 37 erfüllte alle unsere Bedürfnisse trotz der relativ engen Platzverhältnisse. Ausgezeichnetes Frühstück im Hotel Wilder Mann (200 m zu Fuss durchs wunderschöne Städtchen). Gute Lösung mit Ein- und Ausladung des Gepäcks vor dem Hotel mit anschliessender Parkierung (EUR 15.00 / Nacht) im Parkhaus. Wenn wieder Meersburg, dann den Seehof.

Leider funktioniert der Lift nur temporär. Zudem war die Rezeption leider nur mit 1 Mitarbeiterin besetzt, was bei Anreise zu größeren Wartezeiten führte. Aber alle Mitarbeitenden waren sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer hatte eine grandiose Aussicht und war sehr groß. Das Bad ist groß und mi t einer Badewanne zum Duschen ausgestattet. Bei größeren Personen kommt es trotz Duschvorhang zu kleineren Überschwemmungen. Das Frühstück im Hotel Wilden Mann ist gut. Der Weg dorthin ist in 2 Gehminuten nicht zu weit . Der Parkplatz ist ca 5 Min entfernt. Alles in allem hat die Aussicht alles wett gemacht

schlechtes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis

Kein passendes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, keine Möglichkeit sich irgendwo im "Hotel" aufzuhalten um auf die Fertigstellung der Zimmer zu warten. Parkplatz muss mit 15 € extra bezahlt werden, was ok ist aber dann kommt man abends zurück und der gebuchte Parkplatz (mit der angebenden Nr) wird von einem Hotelmitarbeiter belegt, so dass man abends noch durch Meersburg fahren muss um eine Parkmöglichkeit zu finden. Frühstück gibt es im 500 m entfernten Hotel, was jedoch sehr gut war.

Einfaches Hotel direkt am See mit tollem Ausblick, wenn man ein solches Zimmer gebucht hat. Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer unter den Dachschrägen. Bei 34 Grad Außentemperatur ohne Klimaanlage, ein klappriger Ventilator sollte es richten. Wenigstens der kleine Kühlschrank hätte mit kühlen Getränken Abhilfe schaffen können, doch selbst über Nacht hatte dort deponiertes Wasser am nächsten Morgen noch Zimmertemperatur... Nach einer völlig verschwitzten und schlaflosen Nacht ging es am nächsten Morgen mit einem kleinem Fußmarsch zum Schwesterhotel, wo es als kleine Entschädigung ein sehr reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet gab.

Enttäuschendes Frühstück

Im Hotel selbst gibt es keinerlei Gastronomie. Das Frühstück sollte lt. Angebot im gepflegten Hotel Wilder Mann in direkter Seelage mit Terrasse am See angeboten werden. Stattdessen fand es in einer sehr rustikalen Weinstube etwas abseits vom See statt. Dort waren einige Tische in einem Hinterzimmer für ein improvisiertes Buffet zusammgeschoben worden. Etwas enttäuschend! Das Doppelzimmer und das Bad waren noch ok, aber winzig. Beim Auschecken war nur Barzahlung möglich. Einen Zahlungsbeleg bekam man nicht.

Leider nur für eine Nacht

Hoteleingang ist eher im Hinterhof (wo man den Eingang am Hafen architektonisch vermuten würde ist eine Eisdiele, und der Eingang zum Hotel ist auf der Rückseite) und nur bis 20 Uhr besetzt—es ist eigentlich Ableger eines größeren Betriebs mit mehreren Häusern in der Stadt. Aber was für eine Lage! Direkt am Hafen! Unbedingt ein Zimmer mit Hafenblick nehmen! Und das Frühstück im Hotel Wilden Mann (für alle zum Konzern gehörenden Objekten) an der Seeterrasse ist super, sowohl vom Angebot als auch von der Lage. Sehr beschäftigt, mit Engstellen und Wartezeiten manchmal am Büffet, aber Sitzplätze gibt’s genug und es wird dauernd nachgefüllt.
