Must stay at the Colossus was awesome!
I especially liked the customer service we received when we dined in the restaurant. The servers, waitresses and staff were very professional and super helpful.
The bed was very comfortable and Internet access was great!
One thing that I would change is the fact that upon arrival we were told that breakfast was for one person only. Even though the reservation was for two adults this was what we were told. I believe that this is a rule that needs to be changed because upon reserving this room there was nowhere in the policy that states that breakfast would only be served to one person only.
As a common courtesy to their patrons, The Colossus, should take pride in making sure that each and everyone of their guest is at least served free breakfast in the morning.

Clean, staff are very respectful and professional. Pool clean and the roof top bar was my best spot because we could see the surrounding cities. Breakfast buffet perfect

The Colossus hotel, Lagos, very clean and spacious rooms ( we occupied 3 rooms . each of same standard), comfortable beds; good shower an clean towels. Had rooftop pub and swimming pool, which looked well maintained.
Wide selection of breakfast menu
Staff were helpful and cheerful.

The Standard room that I booked for 2 people was lovely and clean.
The issues I had were:
- I booked for a reservation of a standard room for 2 guests with breakfast included twice over so for 4 people in total. 2 in each room). However during my check in process, I was informed that it’ll be for 1 person for the breakfast only in each room when the reservation was for 2 guests in 2 rooms. They charged me #20,000 for each person (#40,000 each for 4 night stay). How can The Colossus Lagos management believe that this process is right? This was a mis-selling, very misleading and deceitful service. It would’ve been nice if this was specified on the ad for this hotel in Expedia though so that the guest will be prepared but it was not. Anyway please be mindful of this when booking this hotel.

The only good thing was its close to the airport. Its hot. Restaurant upstairs only opens till 10pm every night. Not centralized aircon.

This is a fresh hotel close to the airport. Positive experience. The staff were nice and friendly. Mr Seun the GM at the time worked quickly to respond to questions in a timely manner. I was treated with respect at all times. I will be coming back here on my next visit to Lagos

It’s a nice and cute place to stay. The room I was in with a queen size bed appears tight for the money paid. Notably were lack of portable iron and ironing board, hair dryer and probably over site in cleaning the room on daily basis. They charged for complimentary bottled water, which I found weird. Will I stay there again; yes probably. Overall I will give it 8/10!

Almost new facilities but Staff attitude was very poor. Highly inflexible to guests and generally poor reception. Mold in the bathroom, shower pressure near zero with water running in trickles. Cannot in good conscience recommend to anyone.
