We stayed 2 nights in the red rock area in a tent without a bathroom. I loved how clean our communal bathrooms were most of the time and they were conveniently close by. The beds were very comfortable, just wish it had larger pillows and blankets as they both were a bit small, especially when sharing the blanket. The kids loved the bunk bed and to be able to have their own area. So many dishes and utensils were provided, even a can opener and corkscrew. We did have to haul our dishes to the bath house to clean every meal, but they had designated dish sinks with soap, sponges, and cloths which helped. We had solar electricity and never had any problems with it. The deck space was nice to have the lounging couch as well as a full table that fit our family. We had a beautiful Mountain View, although the decks of nearby tents were looking right onto ours. We were fortunate to not have many close neighbors. One night we were kept awake until 4am by a rowdy crowd several tents away. There is a walkie talkie at the bathhouse to contact management, but it was impractical to get out of bed in the middle of the night in bear country to go report them. After informing them the next morning, all was resolved and we had a pleasant and quiet second night. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the main playground, loved the little creek, and had fun in the large pool. Being July, it wasn’t too cold to enjoy. Overall a pleasant stay and my daughter wanted to move in and stay forever.
