Very much as expected. Not luxurious, but everything was clean, quiet, comfortable. The en-suite bathroom was quite small, and the stairs were steep and narrow, but not unexpected for an older building. Very decent cold breakfast. LOVE how accommodating they were about storing luggage for us between check out time and when we were leaving Boston.

My husband and I have stayed here before and find the location perfect for us. It is close to Symphony Hall and there are plenty of restaurants and a Whole Foods close by. The garage down the street is convenient and easy to get to from the Mass pike. No need for the car since everything is walking distance. The guest house is clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

Breakfast was good - bagels, hard boiled eggs, cakes and pastries, yoghurt, fruits etc. staff very friendly. Felt more unique and characterful than chain hotels and much better value.
