A unique and memorable stay at an abbey full of historic charm. Excellent service and hospitality. The room decor is tastefully done and comfortable, good AC for the summer. The master bedroom patio door contains an automated security panel to block sunlight. The breakfast in the lobby is the highlight, love the pain au chocolat and especially the ham.

This was a lovely stay - only one night on the way further south but very nice. Staff were very friendly and reception area and rooms were fantastic. Everything was top quality. Beaune is a lovely little town and well worth a visit.

The hotel is a gorgeously renovated abbey on the edge of the old town center of Beaune. From the moment we arrived and were greeted by Betty we felt welcome and relaxed. The room was spacious and elegant. The subterranean pool was a favorite feature to me, quiet and relaxing. Breakfast, which was served in a beautiful room by kind and attentive people, was delicious, with buffet items and eggs served to order. We enjoyed a wonderful stay. The facility is awe inspiring and the people who run the hotel were extremely welcoming. This is a very special hotel.

This is an amazing hotel. The history and design are captivating. Our host Thibeau was fantastic. Cremant in the stunning lobby bar. Refreshing and cleansing beer at the end of the night. Perfect! And the views!!!!

Beautiful and cozy renovation of a 12th century Abbey. We had a lovely large room with a king bed, beautiful bathroom and sitting area. Close to all attractions of the old town. Near the ram parts for strolling. Parking was a little difficult, we had to park two blocks away.

Beautiful boutique hotel. The front desk person did complain about helping with our suitcases. For such an upscale property, that surprised me. The breakfast was wonderful and ours was included in the rate. The room was really nice and comfortable. Not much light, but really nice. A lot of stairs, just so people understand. It is an old abbey.

This is a gorgeous 12th century hotel. Beautiful ambiance! Breakfast was included in the stay - the food was fabulous. The Staff was very friendly and willing to offer recommendations on where to eat. The only downside for some is there are no elevators. You need to carry your suitcase and walk up a steep circular stairs. The stairs are steep without the suitcase. But totally worth the ambiance of the hotel!

Beautiful but with challenges

An amazing location and a beautiful building. The hotel staff were also incredible, going above and beyond to help me with a poorly timed dental emergency. Thanks to Betty! Friendly and helpful in every way. Our only concern was to let potential guests know that you can be up three flights of winding medieval staircase plus in your room your bed maybe on a mezzanine, one more flight of narrow steps. If you have any infirmity this might be too much!

Hôtel sympathique. Junior suite avec un lit double qui était en réalité 2 lits simple accolés. La vue ne donnait pas sur la ville comme indiqué sur le site de réservation mais sur une un mur et le bruit de la pompe à chaleur et l'autre fenêtre le coeur de l'hôtel. Piscine sans toilette ou douche Petit déjeuner très bien et personnel attentif.

This hotel had a terrific location, walking distance to everything you want to do in town. The breakfast was unbelievable, worth getting. Delicious omlettes made to order, croissants, cheese, fruit, fresh squeezed juice and one of the few places I could get my own carafe full of “American drip coffee”. Walking distance to wine tasting excursion.
