Fantastic hotel. Very much 5 star, with excellent service by the staff. Breakfast was plentiful, great variety and very relaxed. The rooms are beautiful, with great views over the Bay (we stayed on 19th floor and definitely had some of the best views of the Bay Area!). The pool area is fabulous with great views over the Bay. Definitely recommend.

Super relaxing stay!

The Mandarin Oriental Singapore is probably one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed at. This was my second visit, and once again, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location is also excellent - easily accessible from the airport, and if you’re comfortable using public transportation, you can walk through the shopping malls and convention centre behind the hotel to reach a subway station. One of the highlights for me was the pool—having an evening swim while enjoying the stunning view over the Marina was incredibly relaxing.

Is this the best hotel chain in the world? So consistent and so caring. Really feels like your home away from home. Lavish but tasteful decors, splendid locations and terrific staff quickly learning your name and picking up on your preferences. Pricy yes, but worth every penny!

In our experience many hotels listed by Hotels.Com as 5 Star are really 4 or 4.5 Stars. The Mandarin Oriental is a true 5 Star world class hotel. We stayed on the Club floor. The food and drink and accompanying service was excellent. The gym was well equipped, air conditioned and clean! We used the Hotels Porsche Taycan to get to Chinatown.

Pool area was great. Room was probably smallest out of all hotels we stayed in but all whats needed was provided except the hurdle to step over entrance to the bathroom was annoying and we kept tripping over it. Compared to other hotels the price was high. Has 6 elevators but had to wait the longest to actually get one and kept being an issie to operate. Overall average hotel and nothing wow except the price ;)

Our expectations were high because it's a mandarin. But we were let down by a few small things - service was always polite, but often quite slow. Little details were missed - like not having umbrellas in the room for guests during rainy season. There is no real lobby space to sit. And the two bars to grab drinks are both very fancy - so it misses that more casual option. Also there is a private club that gets widely advertised, but is only available fo certain room classes, I suspect booking the right room and having access to the club would help.

Excellent hotel

We had a beautiful time at the mandarin hotel, beautiful hotel and pleasant workers, every food we had was a 10/10. They had special chauffeur service for drop off. The afternoon tea is so nice.
