Great Location

We had a great stay for the night. The location was perfect for our day hikes and visit to Luray Caverns. The restaurant and taproom had great food and everyone we encountered was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be staying here again!

beautiful place to see nature

The front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming. They are rustic in nature but have all the amenities that you need. The bathroom was up to date, shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water. The dining room serves some great food, definitely recommend.
view from our back porch, early morning with clouds still low

Rustic Park Setting

We loved this place. It was rustic and what we really like in a forest setting. Would've liked a secluded cabin better, but this place had great views and worked just great. No complainfs!

Labor day weekend in the park

I've been to the park several times, but this was my first time staying in the hotel. Room was nice, clean, plenty of towels. I stayed 3 nights. Nice to have the dining near by, good food. Many hiking trails. Beautiful sunsets. Balcony is nice to sit out on, not the best view on the first floor blocked by all the trees, but that didnt bother me. Heating and AC. I will definitely come back. More convenient to stay in the park vs. Staying outside and having to drive in every day.
Kristin, 3-night trip

6/10 Good

If you want to stay inside the park, this might be it. But it’s old and worn out, AC wasn’t working, there’s no internet connection and everything in plastic. They even wrap the plastic glasses in plastic. Service at the restaurant was great and nice location. Bring bug spray.
Nicholas, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Very clean, older park hotel. Friendly for a small family. Like most other hotels not big family friendly for rooms. No roll aways available for family of 5. Overall location was a huge plus to be able to stay inside park and not drive a half hour back and forth.
Brandi, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

The property is clean and quite, convenient to trails.
YU, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

The stay started great until they started to dig up the sidewalk outside my room at 8 am on Monday and Tuesday and of course they were not there on Wednesday when we checked out
Marvin, 3-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

My wife and I had a great time at Skyland. The location was great for nearby hiking and the rooms were nice and peaceful. We ate breakfast in the dining room and had dinner at the taproom, both were solid. If you're visiting the area, its definitely a great option.

Lodge style room in Shenandoah park hotel. Food good. Arrived in thunderstorm which was interesting. Prompt restaurant service. Convenient for trail walking in park.
