My only reason to provide 4 out of 5 stars is the visitors who smoke in non-smoking areas and that is very annoying for me who can't stand the smell of cigarettes. I hope the staff can do a better job at preventing this from happening in the future. Despite that, everything else was great at the resort. Good food, nice beach, great pool and good entertainment at night!

A nice moderately priced beach resort. It’s not 5-stars. The beach is nice, snorkeling on site is solid, location to Mambo beach was great. The food was average at best. The vibe of the patrons was chill. The alcoholic drink options were less than average. The price for an all-inclusive was excellent.

The resort's beach is beautiful. The breeze is constant and relaxing. The facilities are dated, rooms need upgrading. There were only 3 restaurants operating.The 4th restaurant was closed for renovation. Compared to other all inclusives, the variety of food at the buffet was very limited and disappointing. The room's fully stocked mini bar in the fridge contained 2 bottles of water and 2 cans of soda. The resort's saving grace is the staff. All were helpful, and very friendly.

Staff was friendly, drinks were good, resort is right on the beach. We had to wait almost every time we went to the buffet or one of the restaurants. Went to the Spa, had a massage and facial, both were wonderful. Resort is in desperate need of renovations though, I don’t think the Hyatt has put any money into it since it was built in the 60’s, the staff do what they can with what they have.

Resort was beautiful and they had events every night which was great BUT the food was meh, drinks were weak, lost electricity for an entire day and found a cockroach in our room. They did nothing to accommodate us for the loss of power and the icky bug we found in our bathroom. Overall not terrible.

Supposed to be all inclusive they had one white wine and one red no variety whatsoever very cheap and you could buy a better wine, but that’s not what was told to us in the beginning.didnt even have Chardonnay !!! Seamed like food all came from one kitchen and you never knew when the restaurant was open or not. It was pretty but not as advertised, especially the all inclusive part. We were very disappointed !!,
