Staying in a castle has always been in my bucket list! This did not disappoint. It is beautiful with stunning views. Even though we had a “fire drill” at 2:30am (rain made its way to the alarm system, which cause it to go off), it just added to the experience and created another memory!! It’s also great that it is walking distance to the village of Pitlochry, especially since taxis are very sparse!! I would most definitely stay there again!

Was put in a room that had a wedding party directly underneath it was really loud, approached the reception and the lady on duty had us moved to opposite end of hotel. Shame ruined our special visit, the staff were fantastic and friendly

A luxury hotel that absolutely earns that title and meets the standard that you would expect. Even though the hotel property is not very far from the town of Pitlochry--walking into town and back is no great strain--the property envelopes you in calm and luxury. The woodland paths create distance between you and the mad world. The lobby full of sofas and stuffed chairs invites a lingering stay--a book and an afternoon are all you need. We stayed in a fairly basic room, but it was immaculate and luxurious, with lush and peaceful views down the valley. The staff are exceptional--we were greeted with samples of the hotel's whisky liqueur, which itself was perfect. We enjoyed the "gym" facilities downstairs. Breakfast was absolutely exceptional. After our travels, it was like walking into another world entirely. And the building itself is beautiful. I can't say enough about the experience.

Stunning surroundings and delighted to see rooms had been upgraded since our last stay . Dress code needed for breakfast for some as people in pj s and sliders ! Not in keeping with a 4 star hotel. The Australian bar man “Rory” I think, was excellent and welcoming .

This palace is up on a hill and driving up to it took my breath away. Pitlockry is a quaint little town and Atholl is the "Queen" of the quaintness. The building and grounds are exceptional. Be sure to walk all of the grounds and take in the unique gardens and tree lined trails into town and the backside along the creek. A memorable place to stay!
