Another great stay at this hotel for us as a family. When ever we have the opportunity to stay in Belgium we chose Van der Valk for simply great servive we receive. Nice hotel but remote location

Nice hotel but located in an industrial area, so you need to take a taxi to get to the city center (the bus does not pass by during the weekends). Great hotel with high room standards, as always for Van der Valk hotels. 3 restaurants + skybar in the hotel. We ate at two of them. Had a 6 course meal at Mr. Sato which unfortunately was on the average (it was saved by the meat dish and a very good dessert) so there is room for improvement (waited 20 min for a non-alcoholic beer after having reminded 3 waiters. The cutlery was not changed between the different courses, just left straight on the table which had no table cloth. Not quite the standard you expect for a EUR 80 meal). Overall a good hotel experience and Gent was a beatiful city.

This is a lovely hotel. We stayed as tourists. It is pretty far from the Ghent tourist area. It is beside a very nice football stadium. It appears geared for conferences and events. The staff and hotel are excellent. We ate lunch at the restaurant both days and it was very good and a decent value. The only thing we wish is there was a provided shuttle to the station or tram to avoid the bus.

Unbelievable experience

This was our second time here. We felt so rested the room was so comfortable,. Everything was above expectation and didn't disappoint, I love the bed, slept like babies. My husband and I are tall people and we felt like ants in that bed. It was so damn comfortable and bathroom was so classy with everything you need and everything was of good quality not the dry stuff that leaves your skin itching. The staff was lovely and the restaurant had a lot of options on offer for all meals.one of the best burgers I've had and pheasant breast and the beef stew thingy was yum. Will go back if I can again. Great experience
