A quiet guest house with very friendly and approachable front of house team. Whilst it is a little bit of a distance from the city centre, there are good bus connections and a load of local, quality restaurants within reach. I would happily stay here again.

Very friendly staff. We showed up 3 hours early for checkin and they were able to hold our bags, let us use the rest room and dining area, and gave us parking allowing us to walk to the local pub to kill time.

A quiet off street, walking distance to food and bus.
Small, clean and private. Everyone I ran into, both staff and guests, were kind and inviting.
There was a very nice inner courtyard that was a secret gem of a spot to be for a few moments.
Would definitely stay again!
Thanks Egans Guest House!

Egan’s Guest House is a sweet stay in a part of Dublin that is not overrun with tourists. It’s very quiet, clean and comfortable. The staff is fantastic… the young woman at the reception area was so helpful and kind, as was pretty much everyone else we came in contact with. I’d definitely stay here again!

I actually felt like this property was more than worth the cost. I did get a little worried about it after booking and seeing all the bad reviews, but it was actually very decent. Especially for 60 american dollars.
If you're just staying a night or two, its worth it.
