Great hotel in the middle of Harrogate, walking distance in any direction to shops, bars & restaurants. John Street at the back of the hotel is very quaint with an assortment of independent bars, bistro's and pubs serving food. The room was spacious, clean and upt to date. Large bar (Pickled Sprout) down stairs which was also open to the public serving food was very popular. Highly recommend

Arrived and the room was like a hothouse all windows closed and heating on full blast it took til the following morning for the room to cool down . Breakfast was lovely and the staff were fab . Bed was also tiny for a double we paid for 3 nights but left after 2

Waited 20 mins after being seated before I left, tried to get attention of staff, all not looking around for customers needing service. Reception staff very helpful.
