I booked a room for a three-day stay. After checking in and seeing the room, I found somewhere else to go. The room reeked; it smelled like someone was trying to mask dead body odor by sprinkling the room with a full container of Carpet Fresh. The beds were professionally made up, but I couldn't imagine sleeping in one of them because the comforter looked like it was the same comforter that was used for the hotel's 1965 (guessing at the year based on how old the comforter looked) opening night.

We booked online and it mentioned a pool. The pool is closed for 20 days and the website did not say that. I asked to cancel and get a refund and they said to do it through expedia. Expedia told me to have them put an approval note on the cancelation but the manager would not ans told me to have Expedia call and approve it. So Expedia called and no one answered so they're waiting on the hotel staff to approve my refund so I'm waiting for 2 days now.

The room was very nice, some baseboards needed cleaning but otherwise it was good. I liked having the safe in the room, that was a big plus. Otherwise, nice sized room, bed was pretty comfortable and over-all no issues.

The shower had mildew in it-the room was stuffy and humid I had to open the window to air out-there was no screen-the breakfast only went until 9 and we missed it-thought it went until 10 -they did offer coffee but we went to McDonalds. Have stayed in 8 hotels on our road trip and this was the worst. Won't stay again.

This motel was convenient to our class reunion in Stanhope. The staff seemed nice. Our room was nice enough but the carpet was very dirty... Leaving our socks dirty when we took our shoes off. We told them we had a little dog when we checked in for our 3-day stay but was never told about a $25 PER day pet fee!! Our little dog made no messes nor was our room cleaned while we were there. I could see a $25 fee for our stay but per day seems too much plus we were not told. We probably won't be back.

Stayed 4 nights for family wedding and visit. The room was clean and location convenient to all my family activities. Everything else mediocre; breakfast was basic, beds uncomfortable and i ended up with a sore back, room AC was very musty. I ended up shutting off the AC and opening the window to air out room while i wasn't there. Probably not good if you have allergies. Fridge froze everything that went into it, no way to adjust fridge temp. Would not be my 1st choice of hotels next time im in town.

Our tv didn't work so my husband had to pull the big ol dresser out to restart the box, and push it back and it still didn't work. Turned out when the dresser was all the way back it jacked up the cords on the tv. So after about 40 min he got it fixed. Water pressure in the shower was weak; liked to never got shampoo rinsed out but we got it. The blow dryer stunk to high heaven when drying my hair but we got through that too. The staff was EXCELLANT in accommodating us, and the beds were great. Breakfast didn't accommodate our keto diet, everything was carbs but that isn't a game changer. Rarely do hotels accommodate that lifestyle. I'd stay there again. It was a nice over night stay while we attended a funeral. We appreciated you being there and being so kind!

The bathtub didn't hold water to take a bath, shower didn't work! TV didn't work! Bed mattress was so wornout that there was a dip in the center. Breakfast sausages were dry and hard, eggs were heated up frozen egg patties, apple juice was rancid our daughter almost puked. When calling assistance at the front desk they didnt understand much English, had no clue what a bath was. Very unsatified with the price paid for this stay. We will not stay at Super 8 again.

The manager broke his back in trying to help us. He was so busy. Our airconditioning in our room did not work. He tried to fix it but that did not work. He gave us a room across the hall which had a working air conditioner in 100 heat. However as we soon discovered, the bathroom door could not be closed fully, thus ruining the privacy between my wife and daughter and myself. The room was also very musty, but since it was late, decided not to bother the manager any more, inasmuch as he had tried the best to help us out. The beds were comfortable and we had traveled all the way from Moab UT and were very tired. Slept well and enjoyed breakfast but not what we had hoped for for $100.

Pool; I’m sure was “clean” with the amount of chemicals in the air, but there was quite a bit of debris on the bottom. The top had a lot of hair and whatever else floating on the top. We chose to not swim. Breakfast; we went down at 8:30, which Is a little late in the travel world however it was far from the promised “super” breakfast that’s posted on the wall. There was toast left, but the rest of the case was completely empty, there was no evidence there was ever anything except toast. You could make a waffle but there were only three cups left requiring people to reuse cups from other guests to fill with batter. The offered “hot breakfast” was cold even though it was sitting in a warmer. No OJ left in the machine. Only saving Grace was there was at least coffee left. Bathroom; tub/shower could use and upgrade it has seen better days, there was some kind of red splatter on the wall across from the toilet I was hoping wasn’t blood. Water took a very long time to get to an acceptable bathing temp and it never got hot just warm… which must be a super 8 thing because it happened in another super 8’s we’ve stayed in. Overall the property seemed clean, it definitely could use some upgrades but next time I will spend the extra $20 and stay across the street at the American Inn
