We stayed on 2 occasions, taking a trip to statue of unity in between. The east side offers good views of rising sun. Our room was opposite staff access corridor which often gave off unpleasant smells. Therefore there is room for improvement and hence why I have resisted giving 5 stars. The location renders itself to noisy wedding processions.

That's my second stay at Taj Skyline Ahmedabad in 2023 and although this time around it was only for 3 nights, they made it even more special by being so flexible in arranging our wedding dinner, including the vegan cake! Many thanks to Sohail for arranging this and a big shout out to the usual crew, who all remembered me from the previous time and made the stay even more personal; Kimmat and Harshal at the front desk together with the usual crew at the Shamiana. Thanks everyone and I'm already looking forward to my next stay!

Didn’t start well with no pick up from the airport despite arranging it. Lots of phone calls needed to sort out laundry. We booked dinner for 11 guests and when we got there no table had been set up. The property itself is very clean and rooms are good. Service is friendly.

This is probably the worst Taj property I have stayed at. Some of the staff were rude. Shower leaks water outside and the bathroom has a sewage smell. The breakfast buffet is awful messy and dirty. Having stayed at the Taj in Diplomatic Enclave, Delhi, before, I was quite keen on trying the Taj Skyline when visiting Ahmedabad. Whilst it's not quite at the same level of the Diplomatic Enclave one, it is still an amazing hotel, well deserving of its 5 star status. The rooms are comparable to other 5 stars, not wanting for anything, other than perhaps a tub for relaxing in. Our rooms (2 nos.) were on the spacious side and very comfortable. The best part was the staff, whether at check in / reception, dining or housekeeping. Keemat at reception was always helpful and the crew at the dining areas were great. Led by Treeja, Ashok, Sangreeta, Washim and Harshal were amazing in their hospitality. If anything could be changed, it would be to have more staff at the swimming pool to take orders for coffee, mocktails etc. Overall a very enjoyable stay and thanks to the aforementioned for contributing to it.

Not fit to be called a Taj property. Terrible!

The property is not fit to be called a Taj. The staff at the reception is not at all welcoming. The quality of construction is terrible and very sub-standard. The quality of staff is very low. They have terrible attitude right from the security guards at the gates to the reception staff at check-in counters. Nobody has a smile on their face or make you feel welcomed. It seemed like they are were being forced to do their jobs. The restaurant served water in packaged plastic bottles. They did not even have glasses for water. How can this be a 4/5 star property?
