Awesome place, great breakfast. Beautiful area. The playground is fantastic and has a zip line. There is a rail connected right to the property. This is a can't miss for nature lovers and a great home base for exploring the Rhineland palatine area

Chambre 4 étoiles mais pas les maisons familiales

Je ne réserve que des hôtels 4 étoiles. Dans celui-ci, il y a des chambres 4 Etoiles et des petites maison vendu pour du 4 Etoiles, mais on en est loin. J’appelle cela de la publicité mensongère. De plus, le WIFI dans les maisons n’est pas utilisable. Bornes WIFI fraichement installé mais pas opérationnelles. Attention, beaucoup de marche à monter et à descendre pour se rendre au restaurant et au petit déjeuner. Aux paiements du séjour, on me remet une note de bar avec mon numéro de chambre, alors qu’à cette heure-là, nous n’étions pas rentrés. Très déçu. Je n’y retournerai pas.

Great location and very nice staff. There is also kids club and the entertainers were amazing. There are plenty of opportunities for hiking and sightseeing. Mosel is also close by. The bar was great and so the restaurant. They serve some great local wines. Breakfast was exquisite. There is also swimming pool, open from early to very late. Mini golf and a wonderful playground for kids.

Sehr empfehlenswert! Sehr nettes, professionelles Personal, herrliches Ambiente, sehr gute Ausstattung, leckeres Frühstücksbuffet, eingebettet in eine tolle landschaftliche Umgebung. Müsste schon in den Krümeln suchen, um Negatives anzumerken. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet, Abendbuffet vom Preis-Leistungsverhältnis her zu teuer und a la Carte zu wenig Auswahl. Toller Kids Club, sehr freundliche Mitarbeitende, toller Wellness-Bereich und Schwimmbad. Ferienhäuser haben eine tolle Größe, das Mobiliar könnte aber modernisiert werden. Insgesamt ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und ein sehr schöner und erholsamer Osterurlaub mit der Familie.

Abwechslungsreicher Kurzurlaub

Wir waren 4 Nächte im Ferienhaus Kastanie. Das Ferienhaus ist ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen...rustikal eben. Der Geruch war gewöhnungsbedürftig. Das Haus ist riesen groß und gut ausgestattet. Nur die Küche ist klein und wirkt sehr alt und dunkel. Wir haben nur den Kühlschrank genutzt, ich wollte da nicht kochen. Das Buffet morgens war sehr lecker! Abends war das Buffet nur mässig. Die Vorspeisen sind allesamt immer kalt. Bei Salaten ist das ja ok, aber Chicken Fingers und Frühlingsrollen aus dem Kühlschrank sind nicht so unser Ding. Keine Ahnung warum die nicht auf der Seite bei den warmen Speisen standen. Der Service war hervorragend! Alle Mitarbeiter sind zuvorkommend, kleine Mängel werden schnell behoben. Alle immer super nett! Die Kinder waren 4mal im Kinderklub und begeistert vom Programm. Greta macht einen super Job! So war der Urlaub auch für uns Eltern erholsam und wir konnten 2mal in die Sauna gehen. Im Schwimmbad waren wir nur 1mal. Das Wasser hatte nur 27Grad, da macht planschen keinen Spaß. Ausserdem ist die Akustik im Schwimmbad furchtbar. Viel zu laut, obwohl nicht viel los war. Alles in allem ein gelungener Kurzurlaub in einer schönen Gegend! Vielleicht kommen wir im Sommer mal wieder, wenn's Wetter schöner ist.

Wir waren über ein verlängertes Wochenende mit unseren beiden Kindern (3 und 1 Jahr) im Sporthotel Grafenwald. Wir haben im Voraus ein Ferienhaus Kastanie gebucht. Dieses wollten wir gegen ein renoviertes neues Zimmer im Haupthaus umbuchen und wären natürlich auch bereit gewesen, dafür mehr zu bezahlen. Jedoch waren alle Zimmer für 4 Personen bereits ausgebucht. Auf Rückfrage ob wir auch eine Suite (ein Schlafzimmer und ein Wohnzimmer) buchen könnten, da wir nicht mehr Schlafplätze brauchen (Baby im Babybett, der Große entweder auf der Couch oder bei uns im Bett), bekamen wir die Antwort, dass dies nicht möglich sei, weil das Babybett ja dann immer mal gegen die frisch gestrichenen Wände stoßen könnte… für ein Hotel, dass sich als Familienhotel bezeichnet, eine etwas schwache Aussage. Wir bekamen dann ein kostenloses Upgrade auf ein Ferienhaus Ahorn. Dieses war wirklich sehr großzügig geschnitten, das war es aber leider auch. Die Häuser sind sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Es riecht modrig, es ist viel kaputt und leider auch nicht sauber. Dazu kam, man zum Haus einige Treppenstufen runterlaufen muss. Für uns mit Kinderwagen leider sehr unpraktisch. Auch im Hotel gibt es keine Aufzüge. Zum Essen (sowohl zum Frühstück als auch zum Abendessen) muss man sich einen Tisch reservieren. Nicht wirklich erholsam im Urlaub, da man hier vielleicht mal nicht immer auf die Uhr schauen möchte. Das Essen war gut und auch immer für jeden was dabei. Die Auswahl könnte etwas größer sein.

Freundlicher und unkomplizierter Check-in. Den Hinweis das nicht im Wendehammer zu parken haben vermutlicher nur wir befolgt. Die Unterkunft machte auf den ersten Blick einen sauberen Eindruck. Auf den zweiten Blick hing dann noch ein T-Shirt unserer Vorgänger am Schrank. Es lagen Kunststoffteile am Boden die an einer gründlichen Vorreinigung zweifeln lassen. Insgesamt war die Anlage aber sauber.

Zwembad is koud vanwege energie maatregelen. Ontbijt is simpel maar wel ok, wel duur. Dinner is duur en matig tot slecht. Algemene indruk is dat de prijs kwaliteit erg scheef is. Kinderclub is wel top!

Had a great stay at the Sporthotel. The facilities are excellent and the surroundings are beautiful. The weather wasn’t great, but there was so much to do indoors that nobody was bored - tennis, table tennis, billiard, swimming pool, saunas, and a good gym! When the weather was good, we visited the volcanic lakes in the area - the autumn colours of the trees around were amazing in the sunshine. We loved the breakfast buffet which had a great variety of food on offer, and we also enjoyed the one evening meal we took. All in all, a really nice stay at Sporthotel Grafenwald!
