Amazing hotel with great staff, very well maintained, good food. It's a great hotel for a relaxing time at the superb beach or at the pool, but also some nice hiking routes are easily reachable via rental car. Only negative point was the bar with a quite limited and unflexible offering.

Great stay

The hotel is wonderful. Good food and beautiful views. Check in however is painful. They sit you down, make you fill out this whole thing on an iPad and the nice lady was trying to get us to go eat before going to the room. It was 21:30 after a long travel day and I just wanted to wash my face and take my shoes off. It would be ideal if you just hand over your passport and card, and have them fill out the info and hand you a key card. The balconies could use a bed or ottomans to put your feet up.

Minos Palace is a gorgeous property with wonderful staff and top notch service. The hotel was able to arrange a taxi for us from and to the airport. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a larger room with a nicer sea view, received a very warm welcome with a welcome drink and tour of the hotel. The food is excellent, every staff member is very friendly and attentive, and the amenities were fantastic - spa, restaurant, lounge area with live music & DJ, pool, beach, and wellness activities like yoga and sound baths. It's also a short walk to the town. I would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation in a beautiful setting, and would easily stay here again. Thank you to the team at Minos Palace!

An honest review

This hotel is not worth the money, nor it’s star rating for many reasons 1. The suite we had was on a lower level -like a basement. As a result the room was muggy, smelly and damp. 2. Pillows were terrible. We had requested soft pillows in advance which we never received. It is impossible to sleep with the pillows in the room. They are hard and thick, 3. There is no turn down service 4. As a result of the lack of turn down service we left used towels outside the room. These were never taken away 5. Lack of basic bathroom my toiletries like shower cap and cotton buds 6. There is an internal vent in the bathroom through which we could here every single word that was spoken in the neighbouring room. I imagine we could be heard too 7. Terrible bed mattress. 8. The Sunbeds are awful -they are old and sagging. 9. Overall the hotel is very run down with aged and dirty communal areas I regret the money I paid for this hotel. It’s worth half the price.

Unterkunft wirklich ausgezeichnet. Service und Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Der neue SPA Bereich ist einfach der Hammer. Beim Essen kann man im Haupthaus zwischen à la carte und Buffet wählen. Wir essen normalerweise nie Buffet aber dort war es wirklich hervorragend. Das Beste Essen gab es jedoch unter im Strandrestaurant AMAR. Der Sonnenaufgang ist vom Strand aus wirklich schön zu sehen und auch einzigartig. Einziges Manko-sehr kleiner Strand mit relativ wenig Liegen-aber da Wasser und die Bucht ein Traum. Wir werden sicher wieder hinfahren.

Hôtel incroyable que je recommande fortement. Tout est pensé jusqu’au moindre détail avec une décoration magnifique et pure. L’endroit est calme, paisible… Les transats sont très confortables, le restaurant est très bon … un bonheur! Dommage que certains touristes ne respectent pas les consignes de réservation de transat. L’hôtel a mis des mots partout demandant de ne rien réserver afin de prévenir ce problème mais que voulez-vous les mal élevés ont aussi de l’argent… n’hésitez pas à vous plaindre à l’accueil et le matériel laissé sera retiré. Hormis ça j’y retourne dès que je peux!

Wahnsinnig tolles Hotel! Schöne Lage, genügend Liegen, schöner kleiner privater Sandstrand. ABER.. Leider wurden wir, sowie alle anderen Gäste, nicht vorgängig informiert, dass eine Auto-Rally mit zahlreichen protzigen/lärmigen Autos ebenfalls für mehrere Nächte im Hotel absteigen werden. Stattdessen wurden 2/3 der Hotelparkplätze bereits am Vorabend abgesperrt und die Gäste, welche schon seit Tagen im Hotel waren, durften auf einem Schottersteinplatz weiter unten parkieren. Eine Vorinformation wäre wünschenswert gewesen und auch, dass man die bisherigen Gäste nicht wie Gäste zweiter Klasse behandelt.

Das Hotel ist unglaublich schön und sehr ruhig gelegen. Das Personal ist äusserst freundlich und sehr aufmerksam (Namen, Allergien, Zimmernummer wurde alles ab erstem Tag gemerkt). Gratis Parkplätze verfügbar, Essen in verschiedenen Restaurants verfügbar und sehr sehr fein. Sportangebote jeden Morgen und Abend, das Gym lässt etwas zu wünschen übrig, ansonsten top top top! Beste Massage (Danke Mary), die ich je gehabt habe und unsere Kellnerin, Mariana, war die beste. Danke!

Traumhafte und modern gestaltete Anlage mit allen Annehmlichkeiten. Sehr freundliches zuvorkommendes Personal überall. Wunderschöner Pool und Gartenanlage direkt am Meer. Kleiner eigener Strand mit Beachbar. Das Design des Hotels ist herausragend schön und die Restaurants und die Hotelbar sind auf erstklassig mit sehr leckeren aus der lokalen und internationalen Küche inspirierten Gerichten. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und es war definitiv ein Highlight das wir wärmstens weiterempfehlen können.
