We were visiting the New England area for our vacation this summer and stopped in Freeport for the 4th, driving to Portland for fireworks. We thought this Inn looked charming and it did not disappoint. The kids enjoyed the pool area in particular. I think the adult's would have liked to enjoy the sitting room (parlor?) more, but we ran out of time.

I always loved staying at the Harraseeket but this time was a little off. The double beds were so much smaller than other hotels and the area is lacking now that some of my favorite restaurants like Gritty’s and Jamison’s and Muddy Rudder have closed. Not to mention that the hotel got ride of their hot buffet and replaced it with continental offerings. Still like the hotel but was a little disappointed this time.
