This is not a 5* hotel, we had issues with lights in the room not working and a pipe running onto our balcony. Decor also needs updating. However, staff were wonderful and tried hard to make amends for the issues, very friendly and attentive. Shame Sowell group is neglecting the hotel.

Excellent buffet breakfast. 4pm checkin is later than most hotels Great pool use however steam room etc is part of spa at an additional cost of 45 euros per hour. We had an excellent stay at this hotel. The room was an upgrade so we had a balcony and wonderful of the old city of Carcassonne. The bedroom had a huge open plan bathroom with large, round bath. We used the swimming pool, which is indoors and very nice for a quick dip. The breakfast was lovely!

We enjoyed our stay! It was clean, quiet, and had everything we needed. We really did appreciate the air conditioning and complimentary beverages in the fridge. I thought this hotel was worth the price we paid. Location was convenient and you could walk around very easily to restaurants or the castle. I would recommend this hotel!
