Charming western-theme inn. Property was clean and well-maintained. Our room was very comfortable and bathroom was spotless. Desk clerks were kind and hospitable. If we’re in the area again, we will definitely book a stay at the Range Country Inn.

Clean and very friendly!

Everyone was so friendly! It’s a little older but everything was nice and clean. We are traveling through with our 3 small kids and this place was a great place to spend the night. The pool and hot tub were great. The pool could have been a little warmer and the hot tub a little cooler but it was still enjoyable. Breakfast was great with a lot of options. There are several cute little restaurants a few blocks away. We were very impressed and would definitely stay here again on a road trip.

A Comfortable Stay

Range Country Lodging is a nice change from standard hotels. It has a unique lobby, timber frame entrance and wagon wheel tables, which help create a warm and welcoming feeling. The staff were also welcoming and friendly. The room we stayed in was spacious and very clean. The beds and pillows were very comfortable.

Lodging in Murdo, South Dakota

The lodging was comfortable, and the service was good. But the breakfast food options were not good. Powered eggs were grainy and very salty. Suasage links were barely warm form the microwave, and the so-called great cinnamon rolls were some of the worst I've ever had. Enjoy the stay but spare yourself from a disappointing breakfast. Get a waffle iron and pre-made mix. That would definitely improve things.

It was a great place to spend a night on our way home. We had our dog and our room had an outside entrance which worked perfectly. The room was clean and large! It had a microwave and a small refrigerator. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise with scrambled eggs and sausage along with all of the regular continental breakfast stuff. We will definitely be back on our next drive by!
