The hotel has a lovely setting and our room was spacious and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Some negative points- one of the bars had problems with accepting card payments meaning you had to use alternative bar in general area (we were at a private function). The ladies toilets had 5 cubicles and only 2 of the doors locked which is poor. Breakfast was ok but limited choice and it could have been warmer

Ive stayed here a few times and its changed each time as they are slowly updating the hotel, food is of good quality, the spa is very good, would highly recommended this as a couples retreat
