Short vacation to Panglao

Check in and out was fast. Rooms was nice, clean. Bed and was nice. Bathroom was of a good size. Nice furnitures in the room. Staff in the front desk, restaurant and at the beach were amazingly helpful and very attentive to our need. The burger we orderred was surprisingly very good. Breakfast was ok. Overall the food we orderred was very good.

It has all your needs from pool setting to beach access and views. It’s very quiet but accessible to other places such as restaurants and nightlife. The only issue I foresee is the road to the hotel aimce it’s unpaved and the parking might become an issue if you were to have a celebration there. But aside from that it has all thr bella and whistles like gym, restaurant, pool incla kids section, and most importantly is the beach access.

I booked 3 rooms. The 2 rooms had a water issue were the supply is very low and most of the time there is no water, complaint several times but it seems they couldnt fix the issue. The staff are responsive it’s just that they couldnt fix the problem.

Hotel refused to refund dispite of typhoon warning

How to review this hotel, we didn’t even has a chance to stay there. But based on my experience with Hotels.com, I will not book this hotel in future if I go to Bohol Island. Due to the typhoon warning signal 1 alert, we have to cancel the booking at last minute just before we about to board the ferry from Cebu to Tabilian, Bohol Island. But Hotels.com and Best Western Ivywall Resort refused to refund us. I’m still waiting for one of the reply

Other than being hard to find, down a very narrow muddy one lane road there is no other complaints. Once you finally find this place it’s AMAZING. The location to the beach, access to the beach, the pool, the view from the room, and OMG the breakfast is AMAZING. Continental breakfast isn’t the right word for this. It’s more like a 10 course breakfast. Exactly what you expect from a very high price classy 5 star hotel in my opinion. The staff and facility are amazing. I will choose this place for all my future stays. Only problem with the room were the mosquitoes and few ants we found on the robes in the closet. However if you leave the balcony door closed you won’t have to worry about the mosquitoes. Still not a deal breaker. Fantastic hotel.

I write as soon as I get home. We stayed in the family room for 4 days and 3 nights. The accessibility and location are superb because Alona Beach is right in front. My family experienced breakfast, lunch and dinner all. The taste was excellent, and the price was very reasonable. I will never forget the experience of eating while watching the performance, especially in the evening. We visited on Independence Day in the Philippines. The time we spent together in the historical moment in the Philippines while watching the staff perform was meaningful to our family as a Korean foreigner. The best experience for my family was that I was surprised that all the staff were always bright, so friendly to customers, and all of them had a self-contained mind set. Thank you to all the staff for making happy and unforgettable memories, and especially thank you "Weng" for his careful consideration from the beginning to the end of the trip.
