Not a hotel. Homeless shelter.
Truth in advertising. This place looks rough from the outside. Doesn't get better inside. Required to check in with security before you can check in nowhere does it say that most of this building is a house less shelter and halfway house. Signs everywhere about being on surveillance. One floor is for travel sites.

Stay elsewhere
This is not a hotel. It’s a halfway house. All the staff are ex-convicts.

Unhappy
The room was cold there was no wifi only one elevator worked. The only thing that was good was its proximity to the places I wanted to visit

This hotel has everything, dance hall, cafe and more. The check out was later than usual and I loved it. Was able to enjoy your stay just a bit longer than other hotels. Was quiet and clean and very Christian oriented. I'll definitely be coming back.

Wierd place but decent
Towels and room was clean
Very Limited noise levels
Elevator was slow ah, only 1 was functioning
Breakfast was Apples, bagels (good ones) and donuts. Not much Else besides common cereal.
Place was a mess everywhere, kinda dirty. Looked like the owners had hoarding disorder
Due to their humanitarian work, alot of sketchy looking people was inside and outside premise - though never felt in danger, whole place was very inklusive and kind. Both me and spouse mingled with alot. Alot of (what I assume) volunteer Security, which made it all feel very safe. Had a very nice car parked on hotel parking lot, it was still there when I left.
It was a decent and nice place, but not luxurious in any Way. Are you traveling on a budget to stay in Louisville for a day or two, this is fine.

This place surprised me at how beautiful it is! The classic decor w antique touches plus a baby grand giving mid 20th century opulence.
There is a lunch buffet advertised for 7or8 bucks which also feels like a throwback to the 1900s haha
The room was comfy. The TV is super basic w no major cable channels, but the king bed was a great sleep. In the morning they do a breakfast that I missed but there’s a McDonald’s across the street, and you’re downtown with a short drive to the interstate.

Although the property was in disrepair, it was a very nice place to stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The potential in the property is great. It was beautiful in its day. It can be again. I believe it is run by people who are staying at the property, homeless maybe. It is very close to the Kentucky International Convention Center.

Don’t park under the canopy
I stayed here 2 nights as I was in town for The National Farm Machinery Show. Over all my experience at this hotel was good. What ever you do don’t leave your car under the canopy while you’re checking in because someone jumped all over me for that. But the rooms were clean and they do offer a donut style breakfast in the mornings. I would stay here again just remember don’t leave your car under the canopy while your checking in apparently the world will come to an end.

Not just a hotel: transitional housing 4 un-housed
This is a transitional housing facility for the unhoused. We were not aware when we booked it. Everyone was nice. The desk clerks were great. But you get what you pay for. We had a hard time relaxing at first. The facility is older-a but rung down and not the mid century mod bespoke vision of the photos. If you’re not expecting to share a single elevator-just allow extra time. We thought about leaving. But the people were nice and we felt safe enough (we made sure to be back in the room by dark since we were walking). We figured our fees helped support the mission of getting homeless people off the streets.
