Maybe short-staffed that day?

I experienced a series of mild disappointments: 1) the building was undergoing exterior renovations but only in portions, however, I was assigned a room in the construction zone. There was plastic sheeting over my window, and at 9:00 am, while I was on a videoconference, the construction work started causing me to retreat to my car to finish the meeting. 2) The breakfast bar had limited offerings, and what was there was not fully stocked: no milk for the cereal, no syrup for the waffles, the cranberry juice was out of juice. One patron went to find help and failed on his first trip. On his second try he reported that he found "them" but I didn't wait around to see if they were prompt in their response as I had a meeting to run off too. Still, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location was convenient, and the price was right.

Upon arrival, our room had a terrible smell of mold and urine. We immediately asked for a new room and we were moved. Our new room also had a musty smell, but it was tolerable. The air conditioner didn’t work great. We had it set at 60 for the duration of our stay and it never got below 74 degrees. There was often no one at the front desk and we had to wait for over 5 minutes for someone to arrive at the front desk. Breakfast was only served until 9 and it was extremely limited. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Worst place we'ved ever stayed in!

Asked for 2 days for a hair dryer. No iron. No remote and the one given us would not turn the TV off Metal bat in bed slammed my husband's ankle snd is now bruised. Blanket was ultra thin. AC was either freezing cold or loweredc2 degrees was hot and humid. Used ironing board to put makeup etc. on as there was no place to put it. Carpet was dingy and room very dated. 2 plugs by bed to charge phones.

Breakfast was ok at most. We had 3 towels for 5 people so we called for more. They never came. They would only refill 8 pool towels at a time and we had to call them so many times to refill them because it was already empty when we came in. A couple times we had to just drip our way back to our room due to no towels.

This is our go-to hotel when visiting family from out of state. Rooms are clean, staff is nice, location is convenient, prices are just right, and the breakfast isn’t too bad.
