A good stop for those who wish to worry about nothing but enjoy going out during day time and return at night. Very convenient since it’s by the pier, just hop in into boat for diving or snorkling trips. Food is also very good and all amenities are in excellent condition. Very well maintained property.

Stunning views, friendly staff and amazing breakfast. Need to book the sea view room - then you dont hear the early morning prayers amd you ger free shittle to the airport and foot massage. The harbor can be noisy, because there are old boats passing by but this did not wake us up. For sure the best hotel in LB!

Pickup and transfer from airport to hotel was fast. All staff I've encoutered are truly friendly and smiling. They allowed me to check in at 12:30, without charging extra. Area around hotel is safe and very walkable. Breakfast was delicious and a plethora of choices for good. Room was exceptionally clean.

Hotel is very good. Food was ok. Spa very good. The call for prayer was anoying and long but nothing the hotel can do about it. I don't see other religions imposing things like this to everyone in the city, should not be permitted in places where multiple religios are practiced. Smoke smell around the hotel, something was getting burned. Overall a good experience.

The location of this hotel is fantastic, overlooking the bustling harbour. The small roof top pool is a real plus. But this is not a 5 star hotel, it fell well short, only one tatty old bath towel, no hand towels; room small and dated. Charged us £29.60 for two glasses of read wine which were undrinkable, the bottle had been open for days and then ignored our complaints and would not change it, even when we left it undrinkable. We had a similar experience with breakfast £22.75 for two breakfasts, when the price on Expedia is £10 for two. I just felt ripped off. Divina one of the staff was very helpful with sorting out problems with our airline check in. So if you want a central location, book a sea view room and stay here, and pre book breakfast, but eat and drink outside the hotel if you don’t want to be ripped off.

Nice, relatively new hotel, amazing view, and close to the harbour. They advertise that they can help with booking tours.. but they just gave numbers for tour operators, who never got back to me…. Biggest downside, is the promenade infront of the hotel, that seems to be the ‘hangout’ spot for the young locals, singing and partying most nights… even on the top floor, with the doors closed, it was difficult to fall asleep :/

Staff were terrific. Very helpful, knowledgeable and seemed truly interested in your stay. The room was large, lots of space to lay out items, bed was large and very comfortable. The balcony was great looking at the harbour and sunsets. The bathroom was well layout everything you needed and a nice rainfall shower. I didn’t eat breakfast at the hotel.

Very nice hotel, exceptional in Luan Bajo! Very very helpful and friendly staff. Clean rooms, and nice rooftop terrace. Reception has very nice staff who helps with whatever you need. I forgot something in the room and the staff was very helpful to find and bring back to me.

VERY noisy

The rooms at Meruorah Komodo Labuan Bajo are visually very nice, and the hotel even offers a complimentary 15-minute foot massage, which was a thoughtful touch. However, several issues made my stay disappointing. The “signature rooms” are located directly by a mosque, meaning you’ll be woken up around 4:30 a.m. daily. When I requested a quieter room, the manager, Ivan, accused me of being anti-Muslim—an appalling and unprofessional response. Expecting guests to pay more for a basic quiet room is unacceptable, and management needs serious training. Noise is an issue beyond the mosque: even the waterfront rooms are loud due to boat traffic. At the pool, there are only about 10 lounge chairs, so they’re gone quickly—leaving no chance to relax comfortably, even if you don’t mind sitting in the sun (with no shade provided). Breakfast is also handled poorly—you’re expected to book it at check-in without seeing it, or the price increases significantly, which feels very off-putting. Spa services were available, but massages were noticeably more expensive than at comparable hotels. Finally, the service throughout was subpar—slow, inattentive, and not at the standard expected for a property in this price range. Overall, while the property itself looks attractive, the lack of professionalism, poor handling of guest concerns, constant noise, and weak service overshadow the positives.

Excellent séjour. Le petit déjeuner propose des plats et des boissons très variés. La proximité de l'hôtel avec l'embarcadère est un véritable atout pour les excursions programmées pour la journée. La piscine et l'accueil sont des espaces très bien aménagés pour flâner ou attendre en toute tranquillité. Le personnel a été à notre écoute, très poli et très serviable du début à la fin. Nous avons fait remonter le besoin d'avoir un réseau Wi-Fi de meilleure qualité dans l'ensemble du bâtiment.

While the room and staff were very good. We were placed on level 5 which was below the pool and bar, which plays loud music all day and late into the evening which we could hear in our room. Note go for a sea view room as the Mountain View we had had the mosque just down the road and you can hear the morning sunrise prayers. (Which we did not mind as you are in a Muslim country). We also did not get the VIP services promised by Expedia

Great find for Komodo Island tours!

Great hotel for doing Komodo Island adventures, super convenient, was able to order a very early to-go breakfast box for our super early tour day on the islands. Breakfast buffet was massive and definitely worth it, with a lovely rooftop view. Rooms were nice. Easy walk to restaurants and convenience stores. Definitely recommend for anyone coming to LB to do the island tours!

Friendly staff and very helpful to ensure stay in the hotel is enjoyable to all guests. Good selection choices for the buffet breakfast scenic view oversee the harbour. Had a room with seaview, spacious and clean, only the horn & engine noise from the boats/ships can be a little disturbing otherwise the stay is fantastic. Good job to all staff of Meruorah Komodo LB and will stay in this property again .
