A quiet gateway to a walkable town

This”no frills” hotel is a favorite place to stay. It’s close to unique downtown businesses and restaurants. I walk to good restaurants and even tried drinks at a distillery. This hotel does not have an elevator so be sure to get a first floor if you have restrictions on walking. Very good $8 breakfast at the adjoining restaurant.

Great service in this small downtown hotel. Friendly, efficient staff. Our room was a bit small, but extremely clean & comfortable. The bed was comfortable & provided a relaxing night's sleep. They had a delicious breakfast in the lovely, quaint dining room for $8. We enjoyed our stay!

Cheery welcome - and we were on the later side - with efforts to find ways to help us and make our stay enjoyable. The motif and character were perfect. It was our favorite stay from our cross country adventure (NY--> MT) and our last night! I bought a mug to commemorate it!

Never stayed at a haunted hotel before

My stay was interesting. Not bad, but interesting. It’s your typing inexpensive lodge and the staff were great, but I definitely got Stephen King vibes walking down the hall to my room. And then I looked up the lodge to see how old it was and to my surprise, it is haunted! In fact, well documented. But to my dismay, no, I didn't have any supernatural experiences.
