The Salem Inn was located in the middle of town. A good location near Essex Street. The parking was free with the room. The staff were very friendly - in fact, due to low check-ins they allowed us to stay parked until our Guided Tour was finished (a couple hours after check-pout time). Great service!

Our stay at the Salem Inn was charming and memorable. The property itself is full of character, clean, and perfectly located for exploring Salem. What truly made our experience exceptional was Suzanne, the innkeeper, and the other staff members. They are all absolutely amazing…welcoming, attentive, and full of fantastic ideas for dining and must-see spots around town. Their passion for Salem and their guests shines through in every detail. Excellent location for Salem. Nice room, C12. NB - this room is directly off the communal lounge. During our stay, no one used the lounge but this could be a noise problem if a group used the lounge area. Breakfast was good though it is in the main building - a few mins walk away. Parking good and nice safe area. Would stay again if returning to Salem.
